Never expect an honest answer again, since this is backpeddling on what was said in the ask BBs thread.

I just reread all of Marin's posts in that thread and nowhere did he say that any of the tweaks he made for JS were this season. Whether the tweaking and unannounced nature of it is wise is a matter of opinion, but I don't see an avenue for considering it a dishonest answer - just one that wasn't explicit and where you filled in the gaps inaccurately.

(One BB in the past literally altered the skills of his own players directly).

The Nba example is something I was thinking about, how you have to adjust your game for the post-season (watching to the Chicago-Cleveland series officiating been so different from the regular season is even confusing) or how they are going to change the hack-a-shaq because it's not good for the audience. But I don't think BB is targeting anyone in particular. They have an idea of where the game should be heading (less tanking, more rounded players, a bit more effective outside offence, etc) and we need to adjust to that. BB is a very slow game, so we have plenty of time to do it.
Marin said they donĀ“t want to tell us every small change, so as far as the game doesn't turn into a pay-to-win, same rules apply to all of us, I am fine with it, whether I like it or not.

I think maybe going forward the BBs are planning only slowly manipulating the GE practically every season, with little to no notification in order to make sure that nobody can create a winning formula, since by nature what it takes to win will constantly be changing.

You're being overly dramatic. Nothing earthquake-y is going on, they are just making small changes to try to improve the game. It's not going to turn teams up down.

I play a soccer manager game, it's economy is pretty unstable, and game creators keep making changes every season, which is really messy.

Compared to that, BB is rock solid. Yes, there has been inflation lately, but it will calm down over time, and it's going in a certain direction, it's not changing directions every now and then.

I don't agree with trainer man post. I agree with his principal though.. If your tweeking something that goes to the skill of the players on the game. Minor or major it changes the players you have and game outcomes. BB has the right to say nothing, my feeling is this.

We don't know, if it up or down this minor tweek.

Imo jr/js and od should be hardest thing to get on the game. But os tactical players are to damn expensive to keep long term. Any person who is worth their salt in knowing basketball know getting a decent jumpshot is hard, and also outside defense is hardest aspect in basketball to attain and to able to defend the js/ 3pt line. This is why having a driver style player is important in real life.. But in BB he useless. pump up Id /od he does nothing. forcing you to play 1 way with your team and that inside . Golden state warriors are jump shot shooting team very expensive in the guard area just like BB, Memphis Grizzles hav a hard , very good defense Maybe best in the nba , they just getting destroyed from the 3pt line and in jumpshot.

They should make Od harder and more expensive to get, just like they do with os guards and tactics.

We also don't know if it's a balance tweak or a bug fix. For example, if I wanted to hazard a completely unsubstantiated guess, based on the differences in shooting percentages for many of my players from Season 28 to Season 29, I wouldn't at all disbelieve that it could have been a bug fix, which changed "open" shots from being more difficult based on the OD of the man defending the player to a flatter difficulty level, maybe based on the team OD. OF course, that would be a wild guess, but I saw guards and even backup guards shoot a lot better for me from three last season, while my big men shot a lot worse, and a lot of that seemed anecdotally to be a shift in how they hit "open" shots. Or it could have been a change in the weight of SB vs. OD in defending threes, or a tiny shift in a factor that determines how quickly a shot's difficulty increases from range.

But in BB he useless. pump up Id /od he does nothing. forcing you to play 1 way with your team and that inside .

I wouldn't say you're forced to play inside. It's certainly the easier path in the current environment, but it's not like the game implemented mandatory google autocorrect when setting a lineup, where I would choose Motion and the page would spit back "Did you mean Low Post?" and refuse to save.

A driver is very important to breaking OD. If he has high is and driving, He should be able to break the od defender on a whim. Its very, very important to have a driver on the team.

Now put this in perspective jr 14, js 14, driving 13, is 13, a player with that should dominate any OD defender in motion , Princeton setting, . but that is not the case. Since some pump inside defense to insane levels along with od.. a driver become useless he is made with passing with, to expensive to afford let alone create.. That I feel defense in general should be harder to get.

I haven't seen any change in player shooting. I always shoot pretty well in my games. I was just saying if Marin did, I think it would best to say once he is done because even the smallest changes help or hinder your players. It changes tactics dynamics as well. If that what he is doing he doesn't have to speak on it now as he works.

But he should say something when he is about done. Which I think is a fair.
