We got power back today after Irma. Luckily the playoffs generated fast enough this offseason that I was able to set the lineup Sunday and actually got to see football too. Still not entirely sure how I ended up pulling second place out this season, but not demoting is a good thing.

Well, that sucked. I didn't expect to make the finals, or hell, even the playoffs, but shooting a lower percentage from 3 with a sensational vs. proficient mismatch than Stormz did with a LI and strong against prolific is disappointing. Having all three guard positions expected at 112PP100 or higher and seeing my PGs combine for 7 points on 19 shots is sad. Kudos for Stormz for recognizing that an outside team playing LI is better than an outside team playing outside offense.

That's really unfortunate, looking at the pp100 makes it look like you'd win that game 95% of the time.

Yeah, possibly. The bright side is that I would have had no chance to survive if I did promote and not playing another week isn't really much of a monetary hit nor does it really hurt my training plan for the week, so in terms of actual consequences there's nothing to them other than the disappointment of the result. I do think outside offenses are pretty well broken, though, and I suppose it's just me being stubborn with doing some weird player builds that is keeping me around. ;)

Yeah I thought this has been a well balanced league. Didn't really have any NBBA caliber teams, but pretty solid across the board.

Will be tough for me to have to go back down to D3 for a season, but I'll be back up here shortly.

Death, Taxes and the New York Jests in US II.1.
I've been in this league since Season 24 and I'm finally leaving. Unfortunately going down not up but honestly, I'm looking forward to the change to hopefully reignite that spark.

I haven't put in the seasons you have in this league (joined in Season 29), but I'm with you, man. Faced some great competitors here, and while I'm definitely to blame for coasting with the same roster for seasons at a time, I think i also need a change of scenery.

Maybe you can go down to III.5, where Deronimo has been hanging since season 20. In any case, good luck wherever you go and hopefully you'll be back up soon.

Funny you should mention it, that's my college roommate. I got tired of waiting for him in DII so thought I'd try to meet him in DIII.

It really is a small world. I'm pretty sure he's the only team I've been in the same league with for two different stretches of five seasons each.

Somewhat of a bummer for new season updates today. Are they waiting until NT games are over?
I'm looking forward to my draft picks for the first time in ever. Think I saw a few great ones.

EDIT: scratch that, I did not. Still garbage.
