I'm basically part-timing my original mentee (?) otherwise no one.

Effectively zero mentees for me. The one guy I've had contact with is no longer asking my guidance.

I don't know if it is kosher to draw comparisons here to Hattrick or not but I do see that a lot of the users overlap and will understand where I'm coming from on this suggestion.

One of the most helpful things I encountered in Hattrick was when I was able to follow the development of a team from Division 5 upto Divsion 3. Everything this team did was made public. The match analysis was out in the forum for all to see. Through the guidance of Havoc, The Bonham Carters (I think that's the team) were able to rise through the ranks rather quickly.

Is there any interest in doing the same type of thing here in Buzzerbeater? If so, I'd be willing to be the mentee. My team may or may not be the right team for this type of exposition as I think I've been around and might have finances/players that others just starting out don't have access to. I am, however, a n00bie in the trues sense of the word in terms of match engine comprehension.

What do you think?

on the USA outside forum a few users basically kept a public journal of how they were approaching their season. i was one of them. doesn't seem like a bad idea. but i'm not too sure if top teams will want to lay everything out for everyone.

I'd consider laying everything out, but people would just be disappointed at how a complete nincompoop like me could be at the top of the NBBA at this moment in time. :)

Start early, train some players, make lots of money, buy other players?
