It depends on your financial situiation.

If you can afford to upgrade now & take the losses during the offseason so the arena is ready for the first games next season go for it - there isn't any weekly cost associated with the arena, so all you would be doing is creating a balance between limiting your opportunities in the transfer market during the offseason & having the arena ready for the start of next season.

Well Im naturally playing catch up with you NBBA teams but you are all a good benchmark to look up to!

I've taken the plunge and spent over $1mil to get my arena over 10,000 for start of next season.

Bleachers : 5500 (Current Price: $15) (Price Next Month $15)
Lower Tier : 825 (Current Price: $50) (Price Next Month $55)
Courtside Seats : 200 (Current Price: $150) (Price Next Month $160)
Luxury Boxes : 10 (Current Price: $1000) (Price Next Month $1100)

Total Capacity : 6535

Adding

Bleachers: 3500
Lower Tier: 175
Courtside Seats: 50
Luxury Boxes: 5
The expansion will be complete in approximately 21 days.

Lets hope i dont embarass myself in the playoffs and i can fill at least 80% of this early next season...

Do you think this is too optimistic?

You're a contender in your nation's top division.

You should sell up fairly regularly even at 10K.

You might see my NT center, recovering from an injury, but it'll be mostly scrubs otherwise.

I have read this thread since the start and I know that the expected time is a rough time of how long the upgrade will take but Im a bit surprised at my rebuild.

On the 1st of January, I decided to build 85 new seats (50/25/10) and BB said it would take roughly 6 days. It is the 11th of January today and it says that it will still take roughly 4 days, which means at a minimum it will be like 15 days of building.

Isnt that a bit too much for 85 seats? I built like 150 seats in 9 days in a previous upgrade and 85 take over 2 weeks? :(

have you worked on 1st and 2nd of January?

No...

Why do you expect that workers should?

Does anyone recogniezed an effect of high ticket prices on the growth of the fan base? something like high prices low groth and vice versa? is there any connection in the game engine? in real life sports there is a connection and the fans get angry about high ticket prices!
im thinkin about this cause im near the maximum prices and im thinking about going to max prices and having money for new players. the other possibility is to invest about 1mil in the arena and keep the same or lil bit lower prices and buy new players later. so if there an effect of high prices possibility 2 would be much better!

what do u think about this?
