What if instead of being safe from relegation, the 5th place team plays the 8th place team in the other bracket and the loser being relegated? I also think it would be interesting to see a crossover in the playoffs, so that if the 2 best teams are in the same division, they will have a chance to meet each other in the finals instead of meeting in the semifinals.

Wha if nobody would make the play offs just 1st would play 8th, 2nd .. you got the point. Let just play regular season for a reason (other than draft order).

in this case the ywill argue, if 5/6 place better then 3/4th :)

If you look at the "average" income of those teams, the answer is pretty easy even if i win the first PO round away(like me last season), i earn just a small part of the money a six placed team get.

From the point of money, i don't like the final of the season anyway. For example me as a first round looser, will get around ~130k. The one who wins a 3 round relegation will get 600-700k.

The champion will have earned something around 1,2 Miollions, which is a huge advantage against the 3-5th team. And in the season the income differs a lot too, so i hard the top teams

I could not agree more.

I think the real issue should be the "Playoff time economy" - I think there's room for improvment in this subject

That's an Idea...

But theres still a "problem" with 3-4 place that might play only one away game and by that earn less then a 6-7 place team that plays minimum 2 games ...

Why not just simply not pay any money to the relegation matches. They are fighting for their life shouldn't staying in the division be enough?

There is probably a really obvious reason why this is a bad idea.

Yeah, there is. But my suggestion would be that 5th place teams will get scrimmages with income.
