I do have experience with that but they were with my trainees that were 6'9''/206 cm or taller. I have no knowledge, or experience with JS wing men with guards.

My sample is:

22/23 year old 6'1"/183 cm
23/24 year old 6'4"/193 cm
23/24 year old 6'4"/193 cm
18/19 year old 6'9"/206 cm
21/22 year old 6'11"/211 cm
21/22 year old 7'0"/213 cm

Trainer level 6
15 weeks JS training (wingman)

No IS pop-up.

(23/24 year old is because this player received JS training last season, when he was 23, and this season when he is 24).

No, I haven't trained JS for wingmen for that long in a row. I've only ever trained it 3 or 4 weeks in a row, but I have seen IS pops from training it. So maybe you've just been unlucky? Or maybe I just got really lucky? Not sure...15 weeks seems a long time without a pop though :(

i've trained it a lot, and got inside scoring exactly like in the first post, about twice in a season, if you do it all season long. For example, with this guy (17041446)

Just got a pop in JS for a 27 year old.
Since he last popped in JS he has had two OS, two JS, and one 1v1. The 1v1 and OS happened when he was 26. All were 2 position.

Once I scored a basket that still makes me laugh.

I have a 22 year old SF with superstar potential, that I have been training in JR for the last 3 weeks.
He has been taking one position of training only, but he still has not got a pop up yet.
Can someone give me a good excuse?

A) potential doesn't matter with training speeds.

B) what level trainer?

C) very low sub-level perhaps.

Once I scored a basket that still makes me laugh.

I trained my SF trainee 4 weeks in a row in JR without a pop when he was 20! Apparently that happens sometimes.

How tall are those guys? I seem to recall that JR is favored for short dudes (could be mistaken though). But yeah, that plus a low level trainer, and unlucky starting sublevels, and you could get 3-4 weeks for a pop.

Still stinks I'm sure, waiting every training update to see the little arrow next to jump range!

My guy is 6'8''203cm, so he is actually a little tall. But still, 4 weeks without a pop is really frustrating. Especially with only 20 years. Plus, his JS is 5 levels higher. I have a lvl 5 trainer, so its not too bad.

Obviously JR training is highly effected by height.

JR is also one of the slowest ability to train.
