I know I was making $500,000 a week at the start of the season but being way over the salary floor now and with very unhappy fans last week I was just $300,000 (my fans really hate Pancakes, $60,000 less than playing most other teams) in profit and Zazz has been doing this for nearly two seasons so it is simple maths. At worst it should be 24 x $300,000 = $7,200,000 minus arena expansions and player purchases, at best nearly double that.

But if there is one team that is flirting with bankruptcy it is hopelessly addicted and his $808,000 salary but I know he likes to live dangerously. Funny to see three of the top six salaries belong to teams in relegation battles and the 7th is Pancakes that were trying to stay out of them.

Again Yoda I really do appreciate your help trying to talk Shanmag out of a bidding war with me

I also am touched by your concern that I might be about to go bankrupt,

I think I had a more expensive roster back in season 15 whilst still in Div 2

I also guess I shouldnt be currently bidding on more than one 200K plus gaurd at a time

I always have the interests of excitement closest to my heart.

Bids of $19,000 and $12,000 don't really count as much except a poor man's bookmark. I like both but at this stage the proficient GS looks very attractive especially when it comes with better defence.

I am really hoping for something exciting from Shanmag but at the moment she is literally TIEing.

It's very interesting isn't it Yoda? So many teams battling in the relegation willing to go overs just to survive. Yet other teams who are in the playoffs with the funds available to take out the ABBL title aren't willing to budge a cent since they are content with finishing as non-title contenders.

It is and that is an excellent point. Looks like except for you, WA IS A DUMO and BLS everyone is content to just hang out in the ABBL and totally lacks the ambition to really try and win. So funny, in Division II people have the opposite view, as Sid said he had a more expensive team to win division II than his $800,000 ABBL team. Lots of people including me are willing to add a major (and expensive) player to have a shot in the playoffs. Is the aim just to make the ABBL and not to win it?
