You should ask your U21 Manager, as he is the one making the decision.

So I have this player which is my draftee, and Ive been training him so far and am generally satisfied, except for his ID. So I decided to pay attention to that aspect for a while. I was thinking of training his ID in center position until it reaches level 5. How long do you think it would take me? also does anyone have any other suggestion on his training plan?

The data from the crowd sourced training project says that each week of ID at center adds 0.3 to a 183 cm 21 year old player.
So, 3 pops is ~10 weeks. Honestly, unless your other trainees need it, I'm not sure I'd spend that much time training it.

But, your player is getting to the point where his salary is going to start increasing very fast if you train the guard skills. OD/HA/PA will be pretty expensive. So, you have some tough choices to make, because he could become too expensive for you to keep.

If you were going to train an inside skill, personally I would just train IS. 10 weeks of IS will give him +3 , so 9 IS. That's a pretty solid level for an inside oriented guard. Really you need to decide what you want his final skills to be, and then think about his training plan to get there.

Thank you very much mate this info is exactly what I needed. You somehow guessed my mind when you said his salary will soon start to become unsustainable for my third division status. That is partly the reason why I want to stop for a while training him outside because strategically I have decided to attack the championship in season 27, and this next season is in competitive terms unimportant for me. In addition to it I have a draftee center who will with one more season of training inside reach the cap on his potential and another guard who also lacks ID. So I thought of rotating the three of them for the whole season in inside training.

Well, since you trained OD up to 12, and you trained some SB as well, he probably has high sublevel on ID. Hopefully, he'll pop after the first week of training :)

i will try to train them in outsideskills first until my SF has good OD, JS (around 13) an Passing (10) then i will switch and train the insideskills. do you think i can manage to train them together for three different positions?

I think they look like they will fit nicely together. Your new trainee is nice to have 7 handling and 5 passing.

Focusing on guard skills first and then inside skills is a great idea. You should end up with a nice SF, PF and C.

Hi guys, i want this draftee to become well-balanced SF around all primary and secondary skills between 13-17. But i have doubts over inside skills could become thi level because of height. What do you think, how should i train this player?

ps: what is the exact difference between guard 1 on 1 and forwards 1 on 1 training?

Getting his inside skills to high levels will be a tad tricky. But at least those started at very nice levels.

Personally, I'd probably make him a inside oriented guard, with good IS and ID. But if you want to push RB later, you might be able to get it to 10 or so.

1v1 forwards and guards give the same increases in HA and DR. The main difference is that 1v1 guard trains JS, whereas 1v1f trains a lower amount of JS, and adds IS. Interestingly, the shorter the guy, the more IS will increase in 1v1f. So, a 188 cm guy is perfect to train with 1v1f.

Thanks for your suggestions, i will try to make him well balanced SF. Considering your explanation about 1 on 1 training, i will prefer 1 on 1 forwards this season, cause i want him to get inside training while training speed is high (age between 18-20) and height of player is low for inside training , and then he could take outside training.

İf i give outside defense for PG/SG, is the difference drastically much between PG/SG and only PG training? Because i have 4-5 good trainable players in my roster.
