The journalist character wrote it (the real one that is) about the actual experiences he had during the invasion and it is all claied to be true or at least close to it allowing a little licence.

My Favourite TV Series' is both Lost and Friday Night Lights, both have finished but definetely have to be my favourite TV series' of all time!
Just curious to see if anyone has watched these TV series'???

Recommend watching Friday Night Lights!!!

My wife is a massive fan of FNL but i never got into it.

However i did read the book that it is based on years ago and i highly recommend it. Buzz Bissinger who wrote it is now more known for his crazy twitter rants but if you can read the book that was set in the 80's it will blow your mind. Amazing insights into the world of high school football in Texas. Also a lot of stuff from it ended up in the movie Varsity Blues.

only just started The Wire, watched 4 episodes and enjoying from the get go. unlike boardwalk empire that it kinda took a while to get into.

season 1 episode 4 of The Wire, the seen where they are going through the old crime scene and all you hear is 'fuck' the whole time. could not stop laughing

The Young Ones was a classic! Vivian, Rick, Mike and Neil. Awesome.


Personally, I like:

Dexter
Sopranos
Smallville
anything sci fi: Start Trek, Star Wars etc etc
South Park
countless others

Who remembers...Lost in Space, Monkey Magick and Night Rider! Bit old but great stuff.

Another TV series that I was reluctant to watch as it was based in a hospital...Nurse Jacky. If you liked Dexter (No-one is a bigger fan of Dexter than me) then you might like Nurse Jacky. Although her character is a little too slutty for my liking, the show is pretty good.
