Truth is, the BBs are much more active with News posts and on the forums than the BBs are.
I guess you mean "than the HTs are", and yes that's true and that something I have really appreciated as I said earlier on.
I mean, BB-Charles, BB's answer to HT-Bjorn (but with a much better point guard game) has posted fairly regularly on the forums. I've never seen Bjorn post. In fact, the whole BB team is good about seeing what the community is talking about.
That has a very logical explanation. HT-Björn is not part of the HT team anymore and has not been for quite some time. HT-Tjecken has been in charge since HT-Björn left for other Extralive tasks (Popomundo I think), and he is also quite active on the forums.
If you want the more impersonal, robotic approach, then you should look to Hattrick for that.

That is not fair at all to HT. Of course BB is more personal as it is much smaller (still), but as the game grows commuication becomes more and more complex.
BuzzerBeater is definitely not Hattrick, and they're doing a fabulous job of taking the good from HT while discarding the bad, and also forging their own identity.

I compleetely agree, and therefore I get a little bit scared if BB start to repeat the same mistakes that HT did a few years ago (arround 2002) instead of learning from that.
Please, for the love of (insert deity here), don't look to BB to be "the basketball version of Hattrick".
Actually it kind of is, and they clearly state that they are inspired by Hattrick (see on the partner page for instance), and I actually see no problem at all with that.

Any large organization will use a system to distribute information.
Most of the time it will be in a for of a hierarchy-Tree, where one group is above another.

Say we have 3 groups. CEO -> Managers -> Staff
You'll rarely see CEO lead the staff or provide them information in person. It mostly goes through Managers first, then the managers tell the staff what to do etc.
I've yet to see the staff revolt and say that the information is not to be trusted because they didn't hear it from the CEO's mouth. This is exactly what you're doing and that is bad communication.

Yes, obviuosly, I clearly understand that. The issue is if GMs are the right way to handle this type of information. There is information that should go through the staff and other nformation that should come from the management, and in this case it should be the latter.

(That is in the case that BB think this is an information they want to spread, they might also want people to find out things like this by them self).

Sorry my bad. I actually know that, so I dont know what I was thinking about. Anyway, it is quite natural that we dont see posts from HT-Björn anymore.

We are in BB here btw, not in Hattrick.
The interesting is that the state of BB is very similar to how it was in HT several years ago. People tend to take things as truths based on very little facts, which is quite natural as the game is quite immature yet.

Honestly, most of us are novice at BB, and we have a lot to learn. Actually, I think I still haven't seen a user that has seemed to be really knowledgeable about BB (I certainly ain't), and then it is quite dangerous to accept things as being the truth without really having evidence, as that will make it hard to really learn the game.

(Note, I am not saying that there isn't really knowledgeable BB users, just that I have not discovered them yet)

I tottaly agree with you.....

Actually HT-Bjorn was quite good about posting when the games were similar size. That was what attracted me to the game. When I joined, HT had about 27,000 teams (2/3 in Sweden) and the servers would fall over when 2000 users were online.

Haha, that was back in the old good days. The servers could be unavailable for days, but it really didn't matter.
