There's a menu option that says help. It links now to the Mentoring thread, though previously it linked to the Guide to BuzzerBeater + FAQ thread. The Mentoring thread will help someone find someone to explain things to them or answer questions, while the other thread will answer a lot of questions and give some explanations about the basic tactics, training, the draft, etc. I am glad personally that there is a lot of information available for those who seek it, but no "click here to not suck in your first season" button.

And That's the mentality of bb managers today in a nut shell.. guard the faults of bb instead of improve them.. Its sad to see.. no harm or offense to you. But its a brain washed mentality.

If bb gave a real damn they would improve the faults and explain things better. Help the starting base instead of resrtrict the starting base. But instead of that they rather play ring around the rosey or , musicial chairs.. Make tactic like yatzee just roll the dice with very little meaning beyond power moves( gdp).

I don't think its a good look in the long run.. I'm not that brain dead to sit back and say the Faq is 100% correct. because alot of the faq is confused in information and not telling things right to the reader t understand, very very, very basic detail. Its not aristotol'e or what ever his name was. " the polis" in depth. Yes it blessing to have it..

At same they could do more. But they wont ,they want you to do more, and claim its your game.. It is not. You cant have it both ways in life BB management.. You cant sit on your hands with certain issues and then get mad at the people wanting things to be better at the start. How in the hell is it hard to scroll back Li.. How in the hell is it hard to lable player abiilty to know his playing base strength. For example Low post player in market to buy..

I find it funny. At same time its a sad funny. I'm not content with the way the game is going. you want me to suggest better. OK> explain the damn training numbers better. Fix LI dominance, improve Jr.. make Id./Od more expensive. Thats just for starters.

No offense taken. We just disagree on what the faults are sometimes. I've said frequently that the substitution options should be revamped as a priority. I think there's definitely a problem with jump shooting/outside shooting percentages and just a balance issue in general with the fact that the number of skills needed for outside offense is much higher than the number of skills needed to shut it down (JS/JR + HA/DR/PA vs. OD) and even worse, OD trains faster on its own than JR alone. I just think that there's plenty of information out there for new managers to be able to be successful without having BB dictate how to play (with, of course, our recurring disagreement over whether they should be able to buy 100k salary players). ;)

I would like to see this, I have a combo guard and a 3rd big man who I would like to see as the backup at two positions. Using SFDC doesn't utilize a three guard/big rotation and CPFDC can sometimes get some weird combinations (although I am finding some use for this).

Yes I believe that Sentinel is right about 80% of two position training meaning that it is 80% of the maximum efficiency version of that 2 position training.

As a side note, I like the new training abilities. I read people think it is "useless" just because they will not use it, or because it will "only" allow to round good players with very out-of-position skills... Ashhh... "Only"... geez, that seems quite a huge difference: I believe that if I have a 25y/o Franchise Player 60k-salary Center that has 1 or 2 lvl in Passing, I would LOVE to get that guy to at least 6 or 7 passing in a season where I'm not developing trainees.

For me, the way I see it, that's 3 more assists per game for him, AND/OR perhaps 3 3pt shots less from him (you see, instead of trying to pass with a low shot clock, which will end up in TO because of low passing skills, my Center will shoot it just from anywhere, resulting in completely low percentage shots from him in big situations).

I can also add a very big improvement in the strategy of my game: you see, now I can shift my strategies to offenses where I actually need my Center NOT TO drop every single pass he receives or sends or not to take a three because otherwise a pass would turn out a turnover, just because he has Atrocious passing. That way, I'm not trapped by a single offense.

Or perhaps take that Guard with Atrocious in Rebounds. If he's already developed, and I can get him 4 pops, I'm not saying he will turn into Dennis Rodman all of a sudden, but at least opposing guards will not abuse him; this could mean 3 or 4 less possessions for the opposing manager.

Do you think 4 possessions are just garbage or useless??? If you do, then let me tell you: you know NOTHING about basketball.. People here forget that in an ACTUAL game of basketball, everybody rebounds and everybody passes, not just the Centers or the Guards.

Obviously, I wouldn't waste a single week of my precious 18, 19 year-old draftees NOW to develop them off position skills. That doesn't mean I won't in the future. Actually, now that I have this feature, I can prepare and plan better my trainees plans, since now I know that the posibility is there to round my Key-player Center without having him to play Guard and bring the ball every possession against top guards, which would cause turnovers, etc.

OK, I cannot make my Center get to 15 lvl in passing, SO WHAT? Does that mean the new feature is "worthless", "useless", "brainwashing", bla bla bla?

I don't remember the BB-Marin saying "Hey, fellas, look, now with this you can turn your Allen Iverson into a Shaquille Oneal, all at the same time!".

Anyway, people will cry whatever the BBs do. So BBs, please, just stay intelligent. And keep it up!
