GZK went unsold and I've decided to keep him for now. I figured I don't need that much money for arena expansion (which is my #1 priority as a new team) and I'll try to sell my other SF at a lower price instead. GZK is a core player I can build around for the future.

8 pops this week. +1 overall team GS. Big game vs. Venezuela Monday. Will write more over the weekend. Going over potential callups. Warthani/Lucky/Hughes/Curley possible.

Half way thru the second quarter. We're up 32-16. While I don't expect this stellar play to continue, it's a wonderful start to this game. Must win this game if any hope to advance to playoffs.

Win! Writeup to come. Chile beat Argentina and if we can grab the two seed we may be able to seek out revenge.

U21 second round is going swell down in Chile. Second place in the group now very attainable after 76-62 (34771) win vs Venezuela.

The first quarter saw us take a nice 18-12 lead. Ngidi with 6 points and Rafferty with a potentially troublesome 3 fouls.

A commanding 46-28 advantage at halftime. Ngidi and Rafferty with 17 points apiece inside.

Garbage time by the end up the third, up 67-41. Rafferty with 30 points, 10 rebounds, and still just the 3 fouls. Almada 9 assists.

Second string outscored 21-9 in the last quarter, roster newbie Josh Curley 4 points, an assist, and a block.

Up next is Peru followed by USA and Brasil. Thanks managers/trainers and Go Canada!

ps Go Jays!

The good: 10 pops this week
The bad: GS is not the best
The ugly: Your face! Just kidding!

Good luck! Not the best GS update for NT either. But hopefully that is a sign that 15x proficient is coming next week ;)

+3 game shape as a team this week has us in our best shape all year (8.19 avg)

10 pops this week has struck some fear into those opponents this week (not a whole lot of fear mind you)

Our 2 SFs are GS 7 and Renaud is in poor shape 2 weeks straight over 80 minutes! :@

USA and Brasil games (plus HOPEFULLY a semi final plus HOPEFULLY a final after that) remaining this year for this group!

Thanks most excellent trainers!

Monday will be scoreboard watching time as Brasil takes on Venezuela as well. A win for the Venezuelans will put them both at 2 losses.

Demanche goes down with a 2 week injury and hurts our guard depth a bit. :`(
