I've seen somewhere here that someone talked about "training = money", I don't know your opinion but in this moment the heaviest increasing have been on the grandpa players that never got any train since ages.

The problem still coming from micronation economy + utopia + the cut on the free agent.

The real problem is again the long term project, just take as example the bonus to be promoted on first division; 3 seasons ago you could bought a great player, this season maybe a decent rookie.

I think you can make good money from training the right type of players now.
Dead center! And new managers should understand that this is what Buzzerbeater is all about, a training game in basketball clothing. Trying to view it as a basketball sim or even a basketball management sim will only frustrate them. It is purely about training for profit.

Or, and this is a radical notion I admit, training to improve your team. Lord knows spending a few seasons training some mid-level, mid-potential guards, who you can have for 10+ seasons and still being able to win consistently in lower levels is nothing like the real basketball concept of buying 30 year old guys every three seasons.

I know of very few manager games (I have tried a bunch) where you can skip training entirely and be real competitive. Enlighten me if you got any bright examples and I'll look into that game.
Exactly! Dead center!

But you also know of very few manager games that have morphed to the point that training becomes the central activity and competing for championships becomes secondary to training. Look at the forums here, and see how training has become the center of Buzzerbeater.

Well, that is true, a lot of people, especially the ones who come here, love training. In fact, training becomes the most enjoying part of this game for us.

But that has nothing to do with the current inflation, I focused on training, even when it was completely devalued. I just like doling it. Sue me.

No, I won't sue you. I have no objection to your post. I think it is good when someone honestly says they're in it for the training, since that's what the game is about.
