It varies with what you are training, if you are training one on one it will go up faster, but at the same time I advise training the slower tougher skills first, because as your salaries get higher, winning and promoting becomes more important.

I'll give you an idea with Innes, here are his starting tsp's by age at the start of each season.

18 - 61 tsp
19 - 69
20 - 80
21 - 92
22 - 102
23 - 112
24 - 121
25 - 128
26 - 136
27 - 142
28 - 146

Innes of course is at the very top end. I've always regarded 50 tsp at 18 as being the least I'd prefer to start with. Fallon was 50 but didn't reach 130 because I was too stingy to invest in better training.

Yeah that's a decent guide, cheers. So with Tewari just turned 23, if I can get him 32 more pops as you did Innes I'm sure I'll be pretty happy with the final result. I'll reassess in a few seasons I suppose.
Pops the last few seasons - 9 (not quite a full season), 6 (that's bad), 12.
Gibney (also 23 now): 8,8,12,11,8. Both of these two have 24 combined HA/DR so a lot of the useful skills.
Thomas: 10, 10
Eh. Maybe I'm not the best trainer :D
Going with the loads of 1on1 first plan with my new Utopian trainees, I'll see if that goes faster.

I agree with the 50. MacAusland was 36 and I had to work very hard on him, but he still had a big hole in OD.

Innes had a level 6 trainer all the way through.

Couldn't remember if you'd ever had a 7. This time around I've had a 6 the whole way.

Disappointed no one from England bid on my trainee (above average tsp, decent spread of skills). Its much better for teams to have home based trainees, especially if they have some chance of making the NT, with its chance of greatly increased merchandising.

I had him bookmarked but was logged in to the other team so forgot about him...

The overall interest in any of the 18/19y olds from English teams seemed low to non existent tbh. Only Kammu who picked up one and was after another for his Utopia team and me (Utopia again) that I noticed. We need to up the level of interest in training / training knowledge overall I think. As u21 manager I should've had impact on this in the past few seasons, but, well...

BB training is a bit flawed though. You can only really train 3 at most and that's just not many players. If you train to 23/24 on average it's one player per team every other season at most that you can take in.

I don't think its up to just you and Vecx.

Yup, but I don't see that ever changing.
