Will depend on the league I land in I guess. At this stage I only have a C, with my SG heading out early tomorrow morning. My two trainees will likely be in the 20k region after age increase and will be looking good be next season's end. Gonna have plenty of cash in the bank, no doubt about that.

Last season the best day of the entire season to buy was the Sunday night after the last game. A lot of people selling but almost no-one buying.

Hmm, looks like I'll have to be ready to snap up some bargains after the season wraps up.

so we finally meet ...

Yes a week too early for my liking so I should just let you win, although I should have a real advantage, if you keep on doing that to your mum, you will be stuffed by game time

If you go down and come back up into Div II.3 Big 8 where things are actually tough....I will probably die of laughter.

With my arena and at salary floor (~85k) I make 180k a week. Was doing 200k at the start but obviously not going to win a great deal of games with that salary (although it is possible... LI teams can't shoot threes in div 3 so a 2-3 zone is workable).

If you're lucky you could get into an easy div 3 like myself and save even more money before buying a div 2 team near playoffs.

I'm just going to bank a couple mill each season while I wait for my trainees to mature...

Hey Lordy, thanks very much for that feedback. Sounds like I'm right on the money. If you were actually winning games, then you'd probably be earning a bit more on the gate. So if I can win, then a $300k salary is workable, especially with cash in the bank to fall back on.

@Moose - Yes that would be funny but with a 1 in 8 chance, seems highly unlikely. It's also possible that if I did land there, after another season, some of those teams making it so competitive in the Big 8 might decide to tank out and regroup themselves... You've certainly been there a while but you are more loyal than most too. ;-)

If I slip a couple of games behind in the next 2 weeks, I will probably tank out the remainder of the season. Without losing every game I have managed to bank a bit this season also. Not the kind of dollars you have made obviously.

A change of scenery could be on the cards but I don't think I could do it.

Id just decided I was going to give up, Market is too high for them and even if I could get the bigs, I wouldnt be able to afford the gaurds I need. The fact that I have limited access to the internet doesnt help. Looks like you are a very good chance now to take out the cup

In other news, its great to see that three of us have players in the u21 team. Looks like the managers are going for 20 year olds for the rest of the season as part of their strategy.
