Had a look at your dudes, all nice and strong offensively but.. Do yourself a favour champ, if you sell and want to buy more better get yourself some much stronger defense for this league. Very D orientated league (generalising) and I would say you would need minimum prolific at each of your PG and SG spots.. Just a thought.

damn those hippos are tuff.. dreamers were lucky to only lose by 21... damn the race for 4-6 in the blue is intense :D

Absolutely, the way things stand I don't know who is stronger, hippos or beasts.. Either way I don't think my current line up is up to their levels, might need to tweak a bit yet, even with the HCA assuming all goes well for the Blaze..

HCA, unless you somehow stuff it up.

easier run to finals.

all you need is a beast PF imo and you will be hard to look past for the title. unfortunately for the backlog on our side

we haven't seen a full strength hippos all season, probably tonight was the first time.. the Hippos are extremely strong.. i fouled diakite in the first minute of the 3rd.. no worries.. a national U21 player comes on to replace him.. that shit is scary.

i played look inside, and even with him playing 3-2 zone he still destroyed me. and it was my normal vs his TIE.

we saw it last year, MM came from what we thought was nowhere... hippos cup commitments are over, time to play for keeps. he knows the Gladiators are pushing for 2nd, so he wont let his guard down :D

Thanks man, I don't know if I am quite that sure, would need a serious beast of a PF or C but I am picky, don't want to buy an old dude, if I buy it will be someone that can continue with the Blaze for several seasons.. Well that is the theory behind it :)

Though as Skyhooks mentioned we are yet to see the Hippos at full potential, can't wait to watch the Beasts vs Hippos when they play next!

indeed you do want someone who will be good for your team in the long run. not much on the TL atm in my opinion.

went on it last night with intention of getting a player for some stupid reason, but there wasn't much around.

i think the Beasts vs Hippos match will be a bit of a fizzler with the Hippos too far back to get top spot there may be a bit of shadowboxing going on between the two heavyweights

Guess it depends on how close you and Hippos are, as Skyhooks mentioned Hippos don't want to lose HCA to you so they may need to push the beasts for the win.. Alternatively I could possibly lose a game which would give Neeber the motivation to win on the chance of getting overall HCA.. Mind games, gotta love the thought process.

you wont lose. unless you play 4 players, or dont have a default lineup set.

i find it hard to see how i will be that close to hippos. i play Beasts and Hippos next week which will leave me most likely 3 games back. that means it would be more beneficial for Hippo to beat me than beat Beasts. or i just spend my money and beat both of them and take 2nd.
