Taking on the winless "Bricksquad" in Bricksquad's home turf, proved to be tougher than Otherland expected. Otherland held Bricksquad to 29-79 shooting, including 2-23 from beyond the arc. However, Otherland didn't fare any better shooting 28-82, and only 3-16 from beyond the arc. Otherland did have success going 18-22 from the free throw line. Otherland was outplayed at nearly every position on the court, players giving a real lackluster commitment out there. Stuart Huey the only Otherland player with any offensive success on the night shooting, 9-19, 1-4 beyond the arc, 1-2 at the line, with 20 points 5 rebounds 2 assisst and 1 steal. Zwirski, with his backup now healthy, decided to not let him even come off the bench going the distance shooting 5-14, 0-4 from downtown, converting 9-10 at the line for 19 points 9 rebounds 2 assisst 1 steal 1 block and 5 turnovers. Chung Hui, whom got an offensive rebound and tip in for the game winner with 11 seconds left shot 2-8, including 1-4 from 3 pt land, 1-2 splitting free throws at the line, for 6 points 11 rebounds 8 assissts and 2 turnovers.

This one was just a down and gritty defensive struggle for both teams all game. But in the end, Otherland came out on top.

Today Otherland's GM made a move, acquiring wily veteran Stuart Watt to play PG. Watt was acquired for 4026, and looks to be the regular starter once his gameshape is used to Otherland's style of play. Watt's strong passing and handling, looking to be instrumental in taking some of the load off of Falcao whom many teams have zoned in on as being a "key player" to Otherland's success. This also allows Falcao to play the 2-3 spots, where he is much more natural.

Otherland scrimmaged the Ohio State Buckeyes, Ohio State Buckeyes playing their bench, Otherland resting Falcao and Salas. A late run by Ohio State made it close, but Otherland had it in the bag the whole way through. Otherland outrebounded Ohio State 60-35, and shot 34-75 from the floor. New PG stuart Watt not much success, but he comes over via trade out of shape, so it'll take him some time to get into the full swing of things. Arthur Quigley, playing ahead of Salas for a rare start, showed why he was a stud last season, shooting 8-14, missing his only 3 attempt, going 2-6 from the line for 18 points, he added 19 rebounds (1 offensive), 2 assists, 2 steals, 2 blocks, and 4 turnovers. Belkhauous with a dominating performance as well, 8-13 shooting, missing 1 3 attempt, he added 22 rebounds (5 on offense) and 5 blocks, to go with his 16 pts and 5 turnovers.

Otherland hit 1 3 to Ohio States 8 3s, and turned the ball over 21 times. But too much rebounding, and high percentage shooting, was just too much for the Buckeyes as they lost the scrimmage 86-81. Saturday Otherland will be taking on deadtosin as the final league game before the allstar break. Julio Falcao, Paul Salas, Arthur Quigley, Zacharis Belkhauous, and Yim Chung Hui all trying to fight their way on to the allstar team. Odds are slim for any but Falcao.

Władysław Żwirski drops 53 points for Otherland in the loss, as Otherland falls to Deadtosin by a final of 93-81. Otherland sold out for the 2nd consecutive game, and the 5th time this season. While fans may not be too thrilled about the loss, Zwirski going off for 53 points was definitely worth the price of admission.

Władysław Żwirski shot 20-40 from the floor, including 5-9 from downtown, and 8-10 at the free throw line. He scored 53 points, adding 6 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal and 5 turnovers. Paul Salas was the only other Champion to reach dbl figures, scoring 16 points on 6-11 shooting, missing all 3 3pt attempts, and connecting on half his foul shots (4-8), Salas Also added 16 rebounds 1 steal and 5 turnovers. Quigley added 5 pts on 1-9 shooting, hitting 1-3 from downtown, and going 2-4 at the chairty stripe, included were 9 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal, and 2 turnovers. Stuart Watt in his official Otherland Debut, shot 1-5, hitting 1 of 2 3pt attempts, with3 points 1 rebound 4 assists 4 turnovers, and 1 steal. Julio Falcao, the team's leading scorer, shot 1-8 in the game, missing 3 3 attempts. Falcao scored 2 points, recorded 10 rebounds, 5 assists, 1 steal, 1 block, and 3 turnovers.

Falcao, Zwirksi, and Salas all played the entire length of the game.

Coming off the bench Belkhaouous scored 2 points in 6 minutes going 1-2, missing a 3 point attempt. Stuart huey in 12 minutes of action missed his only shot, and recorded 2 assists and 2 rebounds.

Otherland and Deadtosin both had 44 rebounds, Otherland with 12 on offense to deadtosin's 8 on offense. Deadtosin with 15 turnovers, Otherland with 19. Deadtosin committed 19 fouls to Otherland's 11. Deadtosin just played a bit too good of defense for the Champions, and Zwirski, perhaps hogging the ball too much for Coach Valmont's tastes. Quigley and Falcao not even combining to score 10 points really wastes the 26 points per game they usually average together. We have an extended break in the action for all-star weekend, so lets see if the Coach can square things away in the meantime.

No surprise in Otherland as not a single player of theirs was named to this season's all-star team, division leading Ravenswood is starting 4 of the 5 representatives from the Big 8, and 2 of the 5 bench players as well.
