The point was your decision to have a level 6 trainer in the first place
the diff between 5 and 6 and where it's costing you elsewhere

Financing is not needed for the NT luckily! Dont get me wrong, I dont want to be paying 120k, but I as never in a position where I could get a cheaper lvl 6 trainer. As soon as I can, I will.

I don't get this at all bballin, you can fire your trainer today and avoid wasting another $120,000 on Monday's update.

I'm not sure if you realize it but the difference between a level 4 trainer and a level 6 trainer is only about 15% and you can get a level 4 trainer for about $12000 salary right now. You're in D3 now, there's no way on earth you should be spending that much on a trainer for 1 extra pop per season.

I also need to ask why you feel the need for such an expensive trainer? Your 2 superstar trainees will never make the NT and your 20 yr old MVP looks like he's way too far behind to make U21 next season. You don't have trainees with high enough ceilings to warrant the extra benefits of a level 6 trainer IMO.

It's possible that I'll still vote for you, but it'll only because I know you'll put more effort into the more taxing and time consuming areas of being an NT manager than kozlik will. As Stajan mentioned, we really need to get the Canadian NT player training program back on track. Apart from Phillip Collin, do we even have any players younger than twenty-five that are prospective NT players?

This is a good question. WA started a database about 3 seasons ago with the best players for each age group, I think that should be updated at least once a season. Doing so would also help Canadian managers target 22-24 year olds that aren't yet NT players but could make that level with some high level training during that important time period.

Right now the Naismith managers are very good at buying up the NT players and keeping them in house but I don't see a lot of future NT players on their rosters. Even Collin practicually came out of nowhere it seemed. Nobody really knew much about him until Beanerz pointed out that he was on the transfer wire and his skills had suddenly skyrocketed.

I think all the bashing on Bballin for his lack of team success is slightly unfair. Some people just don't care about winning games with their team. I'm kind of starting to shift into that category myself. All I really care about is having Stronks be a beast. Very soon, I will be out of cash and have to restructure my team by going down a division more than likely. That's something I'm fine with though. I'll probably end up in D.II getting killed because I won't let go of Stronks until his NT days are over, even if it cripples my team. Honestly, I couldn't care less about winning the Naismith title, it's ALL about training. As you said, it is possible to win while focusing on training, but to some people, they don't care enough to even try to win.

The MVP Frenchman and the Superstar Italian both have chances at the NT if their training goes according to plan. Oudin is not really behind schedule. I missed half a season of training because I got him late, but he is also really balanced and the more expensive skills(JS/JR/REB) are all average or lower which makes his salary really low.

My Canadian Superstar(Jakes) is going to end up being a really really good cost effective PG by the time he caps. I was told by someone in a division I league that the most salary effective PG for a LI offense is one with high IS(check), 18 OD and 16 PA with JS/JR/DR not any higher then around 14. Im working on this and Jakes should be looking like a really good PG soon.

Right now my main focus is to get these three players to the goals that I set out for them. The only reason I would need to promote is so I could sustain their salary and if they reach the levels I expect them too, promoting should not be a problem.

I have stated that I am planning on doing something like this, but updating it as much as possible throughout the course of my term(if voted in).

Even Collin practicually came out of nowhere it seemed. Nobody really knew much about him until Beanerz pointed out that he was on the transfer wire and his skills had suddenly skyrocketed.

People on the offsite who followed the U21 when he was on the U21 knew very well about him, including myself. He was a beast in the U21. His skills did not suddenly skyrocket and he did not come from nowhere.

I dont much about the skills of these players, but this is mostly just here to show that there are indeed players 25 and under that can be NT players in the future. With the great work Kumiko is doing, this number should be greater in a few seasons time.

This also goes to show the need for a depth chart on the offsite.

Their is also 3 MVP+ potential players on Canadas current U21 roster, that look to be receiving solid training.
