I believe we will have a 3-way tie for 5th with 3 teams sitting at 8-7 once inter-division play is over. The final stretch of intra-division play will be a heck of a fight. Nobody wants to come in 8th when they could have been in 3rd in the other division.

Yeah, that 11-11 looks pretty nice on the stat sheet. I had a pretty big stat night from one of my guys too:
Danil Bosyakov: 27 Points, 17 Rebounds, 12 Assists with a +67. But somehow he was only given a 7.0 Rating for the game.

Ratings are a bid odd, it's based off the influence on the game, not the statline. (although you'd think a triple double like that had a huge influence? I dunno). Bit confusing.

generally higher salary players have better ratings, but there is the very rare occasion when a low rated player can have a 13.0 or 14.0 something like that.

Nice triple double though.

Is it possible to demote from D IV anymore? Or does everyone stay in the league no matter what.

very possible,

the bottom 2 from each conference automatially demote, and the other bottom teams (bottom 3 excluding last place since they're already down) playoff, winners stay up, losers demote so that's 4 teams down.

There ARE a few division 5 leagues with humans, but usually they'd demote to one with no humans, so it's an easy road back to d4, but a nice time to rebuild as well, since you cant lose to a bot.

in SOME rare cases, you can can relegated but placed in another d4 league.

your should be safe though. As long as you dont finish dead last, you can easily beat the other teams in my conference in a relegation playoff series, but I think you'll grab 4th or 5th so that wont be needed.

edit ---> still maintain my prediction hoopsters will finish last

You were also playing against chairs, so that is going to skew the stats and the ratings quite a bit. There is no defense to shoot over, the player went the full 48, and the chair he was guarding also put up double digits.

Chairs ?

i did figure it's the effect of the full court press, defense isnt good in general. My bigs would've probably just been getting open shots on most plays.

FCP only creates a lot of turnovers, it's completely useless unless it's against a team with terrible passing and handling, who's generally much weaker, which would help create more offense for your team.

also, who's watching the NBA finals ?

i called cavs in 7 before the series, i dunno if they can last 7 now though

Yep, it is going to be a good game I think, I will be watching.

The last game was obviously crucial to preserve the Warriors in the series, but this one is just as important for both teams. CLE was clearly gassed at the last game, and let a bit of a deficit go blowout. Just because they lost by a lot doesn't mean they haven't it lost it, I would say they are still in it with motivation and drive. LeBron was out of sorts having to challenge GSW bigs without his shooters hitting to generate space plus the head injury, but he has the Finals experience and he will be ready to go.

GSW, though, I think is going to overwhelm CLE possible starting tonight. I don't think the David Lee minutes addition is enough to do it, but just a few quarters of Steph, Klay, Barnes going all at once or Iggy, Livingston, Draymond together is going to tip the scales. Curry is clearly still upset about not getting a full game of consistent playmaking, and should be really motivated to put up a good game.

If GSW gets the better of CLE, I would say it will be because GSW is able to increase the tempo and maximize drive and kick opportunities more than straight fatigue. LeBron had it 3.5 games unlike anything, Thompson is showing no drop in activity or interior presence, Dellavedova was gassed but is on multiple days rest. Shumpert's shoulder injury should be no issue.

Both teams are going to be ready to go, it will be interesting to see what the storylines are as the coaches make adjustments.

I just had the feeling Golden State had that game 5, and... Curry stepped up big last night

I do think cavs will win on tuesday, but I don't see them going back and beating GSW at the Oracle in game 7.

HOWEVER, with Lebron you never know. He may find a way. Although I dunno how much else he can do compared to what he's doing already.

But let's say JR has a big game and lands 7 or 8 threes. People have been saying that all series though. Hasnt happened.
Looked like it was gonna happen last night, he wasnt bad either, but they need something more.

They ARE missing Kyrie, because lebron's the only real consistent offensive threat.

but i think i'll have to change it from cavs in 7 to gsw in 7. I DONT see Cavs losing tomorrow.
