Injuries change everything, 1 player can mean the season. I was close today to lose one and watch the film from last seasons repeating again. In 7-8 players roster it's massive. Hadn't you lost your PG it would've meant easy wins on matches you've lost. It's even more unlucky since it's happened in an important season stage.

Yeah thats BB, hopefully I'll get my players back soon as being a starter down has the knock on effect of overplaying minutes on the rest of the team. If I get another injury, I can pretty much wave goodbye to the playoffs at the end of the season. It's that tight.

Nice to see you can win a Cup game without rubbing your opponent's nose in it as you did with Bergkamp.

I really think you should rub Gully's nose in your latest cup victory ;-)

He'd probably be better off using last season's win but that probably wouldn't have the desired effect either.

Terrible training update for me, just got rid of my career extension guy, zero pops and four drops!

I'm not one for posting about wins generally, and I'm certainly not crowing about this one. I've spent most of the 4th quarter moaning (as usual), five players playing the whole game and not getting tired, a lucky fan coming on and looking like a starter rebounding the ball, the fact that we couldn't get the ball to anyone the lucky fan was guarding, and of course, my favourite, why are we letting Carlsson shoot all the time like we're playing patient.

So there we are; timeout with 25 seconds left. Those of you who have been in chat with me know what I think of Wasps' timeouts. They're usually followed by a Carlsson miss or a turn over.

10 seconds left and for the first time we have Fallon up against the lucky fan. He plays for England. He can't miss. He simply can't miss.

He's missed.

Game over. How is this even possible? I'm done with this season. I'm done with this game.

1 second left. Ifeanyi steal. Typical there's no time left. I might as well be watching City in the 80's or 90s. Its not the disappointment that kills you. Its the hope.

0 secs left. Carlsson shoots. He's 2 for 22. Its in. (And I admit, I thought we'd tied the game, and was ready to moan about too many minutes.) After a few seconds I actually noticed we'd won. He'd hit a 3!

And on TV too. Probably the best finish I've been involved in.

Good win and cool finish, I missed the game. Nothing personal against you with CTing with a proper team, two TV games against you and was still one game back for the #1 pick.

I did whine a bit at first about the CT, especially seeing your upcoming fixtures, which I'd obviously have preferred you to CT, lol, but, almost unforgivably, I'd not really noticed it was a TV game, and so a CT was right in the circumstances.

I also think your tactics were better than mine, but although we both had a player foul out, yours probably hurt the most.
