Why not give him a bit secondarie training? If you dont want a mono skilled player you will have to do this at some time anyways. But if you do it later, his salary will be higher and you will waste money.
I would advise you to train passing to average or respectable. and train one on one for a few weeks. Handling and js would pop because of this too. After this his secondaries wuold be high enough and you would never need to bother about them again.

He hasn't got the ideal length, but I guess he could have 11/12 in both ID and OD when he gets 21. Or do you think ID training will go to slow with this length? Or is something else advisable?

His OD, you are going to have to spend at least a whole season on, single training. My 6 ft PG trainee took a whole season of OD training (single POS) and with a level 6 trainer, and only got to level 13. for ID, you are also going to have to spend most of a season on if you want to him to 12.

I would not bother getting his ID to 12, because this would take too long. Try Getting it to lvl 10, but would definetly get his OD to 12/13.

Suggestions? am planning to train JS/JR for rest of season, and train Passing and handeling next season, and hopefully make U21 NT when he's 21.

focus on JR for the rest of this season, it's quite low for such a player. His JS will rise a little while you do so.

You might want to train his Driving, too. This would increase his handling quite a bit, and with his diverse offensive arsenal, you want him to get open looks as often as possible.

Also, spend some time during the offseason training his stamina.
