Yeah - 1-1 fits...now the cup is over its scrimmage time so I can start to be more creative with training.... I'm interested to learn why a couple of people suggest JR.... its not like Im training him for anything other than a Look Inside offence..hahahahhahahahaha

Passing for sure..... No-one suggesting me to get him to Phenomenal OD & ID??? would there be any advantage of this over where he is now? Just have him as a passing beast who no-one can score over?

I have a 22 year old SF with superstar potential, that I have been training in JR for the last 3 weeks.
He has been taking one position of training only, but he still has not got a pop up yet.
Can someone give me a good excuse?

He only got 44 minutes one week...so you haven't really trained him for 3 full weeks. More like 2.75 weeks.

You are not looking at the correct week. I did not train JR the week you are talking about. If you look more carefully you will see that for 3 weeks he got 48+ as a SG and he did not get a pop-up in JR.

I also did not pay attention that you made your origonal comment 8 days ago. I was a little late :-) Sorry!

How many weeks did it take you to get your previous JR pop from him?

It took about 2 weeks... And I feel a bit suprised since he is only 22, I have a level 5 trainer, he has superstar potential so he has not reached his cap yet, and he has about the wright height for the JR skill. Is there any explanation?

If it took just 2 weeks to get that JR pop last time...the most likel explanation is that he popped a little early last time, and as a result, he just barely popped, mean his sub level was probably as low as it could be. Next time you train JR you are sure to get that pop. Good luck!

JR 101

JR training is not slow at all...if you exploit the elastic effect enough. No, not handling, it's OD that matters. It's very well documented in the chinese community. I have a trainee with 14 OD and he popped to 10 after 7 weeks of JS. And another trainee with 16 OD and he popped to 13 after 9 weeks of JS. (These are full pops since I trained JS in their last pops in JR and I never trained anymore JR) In my experience, that's roughly 2 weeks of single pos JR training. Both of my trainees are 20+. Their heights are 6'2'' and 6'6''. So height doesn't matter that much.
