Pretty interesting looking at salary details...

I don't understand (the previous post was deleted) but if you want salary details have a look at this:

Total Salaries in Season 17
# Team Players Salary Tot Average Std Dev.
01. Sapporo Fighters (53440) 12 $ 275 100
02. zenigata gangs (53449) 14 $ 268 086
03. Shikoku Otaku (53426) 13 $ 252 440
04. Northern Kyushu Ramen Kings (53423) 13 $ 188 653
05. 楽しい (53427) 12 $ 187 389
06. Kyoto Shogun (53477) 14 $ 155 288
07. aisteru.4ever (53414) 12 $ 150 015
08. Baikinman (53437) 13 $ 123 927
09. Terry Bogard (53408) 12 $ 100 225
10. sasimi (53482) 10 $ 90 043
11. Dragon riders (53410) 8 $ 59 063
12. Japanese Teriyaki Ninjas (53413) 18 $ 52 341
13. BC Tiger (53473) 14 $ 42 599
14. Kokubunji Dodoscos (53478) 12 $ 36 651
15. Northan00 (53416) 8 $ 35 578
16. Joker V (53435) 8 $ 24 123

I always felt that the Fighters were the team to beat and look at these massive salaries. Zenigata are also paying a lot but not such a great return on their money, still I wouldn't be surprised to see them in the finals.

mikelm15 I was a little upset always feeling left out but it is all ok now.

malice well done on the blog. You are a celebrity now.

Just also looking at how the crossover games have gone so far.

Sapporo Fighters 5-0
Shikoku Otaku 5-0
Northern Kyushu Ramen Kings 5-0
Kyoto Shogun 5-0

And they complain how unbalanced things are in the JBBL, I think things are much worse here.

Heaps worse. And I cannot see the top 4 from the Great 8 losing a game tonight.

And on those salaries: that's a HUGE gap between 3rd to 4th...

AS Game...

Bit disappointed that the #1 rebounder in the Great 8 didn't make the team, but can't complain really with two starters - and Ad O'Sullivan in the 3pt competition too.
Interestingly enough, the Big 8 kills the Great 8 roster for salary...

And looking at the state of play in II.1...

Yet again, the Big 8 have fallen to pretty much 4 guys-headed-to-being-bots. Great 8 have 2.
Pretty disappointed - every new guy that joins us, I shoot an email offering assistance. Thus far, I'm yet to get a response from 1... Even tho' I'm still relatively new myself (this is pretty much my 3rd season), I think I have decent info to share.

This is all mirrored in the AS game I believe: only 4 teams (SF, NKRK, KS, TB) in the G8 represented, and 5 in the B8 (楽しい, BM, ZG, ais, sas).

The allstar selections are a little funny. My Kobe made the 3pt comp while Konoe who has 4 more JS and 2 more JR didn't. Makes no sense. We got 3 players in the all star game including our 9th best player Norihisa Ushio but I guess it is good, he is one of our last two starting players and isn't getting any better, his training days are long over.

And Ad O'Sullivan takes out the 3pt comp! Was actually quite exciting watching it 'live'...

Kobe was stuck back in third where he belongs. Well done but I wish it was my Wondrous shooter not my Prominent one in the competition.

The big shock was that the Big 8 won the all star game. They do have star players over there we need to watch out for.

This was an impressive statline for my $4,000 SF
SF N. Ushio 36 12 - 21 4 - 9 0 - 0 1 3 7 2 0 2 0 28 8.0
28 points made him the 4th top scorer in the all star game.

Well another round of cross conference games and another week of 4-0 for the top 4 of the Great 8. If we can all win again on Tuesday that will make it 32-0 for us. And the JBBL complain about the imbalance!

I know you are a Lakers fan, I hear noise that Dwight is going to LA. If not LA is looking like team #3-4 in the West.
