I'm trying to figure out how not to have my Game Shape go in the tank.

Use 2 different starting 5s, then give some of the overworked horses rest in the cup game by including players 11 and 12. If your second unit is solid this should keep you competitive in all 4 games.

Of course, coming from an exclusively bot league, my insight is extremely limited.

I was being somewhat tongue-in-cheek, I know that's the plan, but it's going to be a pain in the ass.

A CT? Really?
Any two will do
Any three for me
Any four will score
Any five are live

Good luck nonetheless (unless you are playing the Bulgarians, then may all your folks shoot like Ray Allen in Game 1)

But... the BB are alive?
They see the big problems that we're evidencing about the BBB-cup????

Do you expect someone in real life to follow your orders simply because you say so?

Please, answer to the problems that I have evidenced

There is match income, training, and the minutes do count (which makes squad rotation more difficult). Yes, it's a challenge, but then again these are the best teams in BuzzerBeater! (And, if it's too much of a challenge, you'll be gone in one week, right?).

Why should B3 teams be allowed to train additional players? They are already getting more revenue from the extra games.

For the ones that get thru is a small advantage, if you get eliminated at week 1, you can train 1 or 2 players only 1 week, so thats not a big advantage.

is all this bbb thing about making the best teams even better? i mean more money and more trainings minutes for them? so better players and more money for better players and bigger arenas!
that sux!

ok there r only 200 teams so not so many games but u're have the chance for 7-8 extra games so 1-2mio extra money and lot of extra training!
the normal cup is only about 4 weeks longer! and its a big advantage to stay in the cup!
so this is 2/3 of a normal cup!
maybe its interesting to see which the best team is but i think this could be in action games so they can set their best players and thats a lot more balanced!

Accusing the BBs of creating a tournament to help themselves and the GMs wont win you many sympathy votes and pretty much dampens any argument you may have.

4 games is 960 minutes, or 80 minutes exactly for 12 players. I think the teams that go far and do not suffer a minutes-penalty in training will have to have 15 players.

That said, only 25% of the teams entered will last more than two weeks. In the Champions League once the group stages are finished it is mostly the Big Boys left. Teams from France, Holland, Turkey, Russia, etc. are usually home watching and pinching pennies while teams from England, Italy, and Spain are managing several competitions and minutes played and wiping their asses with $1000 bills.

It might be that way here in computer-generated simulation land. So what?

I think it is awesome idea (http://www2.buzzerbeater.org/BBWeb/Forum/read.aspx?thread=22182&m=1)

and I congratulate BB for swift implementation of something that will add a great deal of fun, exchange, and energy to an already awesome community!!

Once I scored a basket that still makes me laugh.
