If it costs 5kk to catch up, Italian and Spanish teams only need to sell one of their best players.

I believe a guard with 14/14/14 is worth something like 4kk for example.

Sell it and use all the money to expand arena. If all italian top teams do that, they will equally become more fragile, and that would mantain the level of competitivity and avoid the seller to automatically relegate to freakish div.II.

I bet a lot of teams around the world would go to the line to buy those players.

Teams that have pioneered, and the few well positioned to follow, in expanding arenas well past what you'd assume a basketball arena to be will become untouchable to all but a handful of the 45k and growing teams in the game.

I'm not arguing for my sake, but for any team that hopes to have any chance of challenging the established teams.

You didnt read my prior posts or didnt comprehend my point. I'm not really concerned about established d1 teams. You example of top italian or spanish teams are most likely in good position to take advantage of this. In the first 4-5 seasons teams made much more money per season then any teams that have started in the last few seasons.

i think this problem is in mnany countries, because you earn a lot in the first devision, before they make the regulations even with a small arena which gives the old first divisiioners and good advance in front of the teams who started below.

(34185) - this team started in league for of germany, don't traded players and have an nice arena + plays a good season in league one.

We have many team even in our third league, who have bigger arenas then the biggest in italy first.

It isn't easy to catch up but with a bit of time you could catch up, at least to the medium teams, because they earned not much more then the good teams the league below.
And i am pretty sure the times you earn a lot every week will end the next 2-3 seasons in the top division, even in germany because high salary player get avaible and even got more expensive.

Well I started in season 2 in IIIrd division and I've arrived this season in A. I was able to be promoted simply having more costs than revenue otherwise I should be still in second division. Only now I can invest something in the arena but I'm sure to lost a lot in power and the risk to go back in second division in the season 8 is real. After that if you don't win often your arena is often empty so at the end now is not easy to try to follow you

Right, and instead of the top teams starting to hit a cap on revenue, there is now a way to take further advantage of being a team that started in the first 4 or so seasons.

And i am pretty sure the times you earn a lot every week will end the next 2-3 seasons in the top division, even in germany because high salary player get avaible and even got more expensive.

My salaries went up almost 50% this season, and yet I made more this season then last. Almost all players are capping out at around 50k-75k in salary, only a very very small % are high potential players that are starting to break that.

If you need a 40k+ arena to afford the best players, then that's the only place they will exist. If you want to be able to compete for the best players, then you'll have to spend around 10m to catch up. (you do know how long it takes to make 10m in the current economy, right?)

Great, BB will be a game primarily about building arenas.

There are some news regarding the possibility to have the tax on the arena? I remeber that someone asked to introduce it but I don't remember if this proposal has been accepted by BBs

There are some threads discussing this around. The response to taxes on arenas are not very positive though. I doubt the BB's are springing this on us soon. Just my opinion.

Thanks ;) I've seen some discussions about it but really I didn't remember the position that BBs taken about this matter, thanks.

i will check that in some week, don't forget people buy like frenzy in the PO ;)

So the thing is if you catch up 1 million only for the arena plus 10 Million for the rooster(the second ten million are pretty small) with smaller income, or 10 +10 with higher income both takes a while.

And take a look at the linked team above, i fixed now the link, he has probadly managed to have a good rooster and a nice arena.

But the main question is how fast should it be possible to get through the leagues? If you like an fast way which must inflation in the team, it would be best when the income differences betwenn the leagues are small and even the impact off the arena. But if you think it ok that it take some season to catch up the best of the 1000 team who start before you, i think also the current system works.
