I now have to agree with you...HCA is a joke. 6 missed FT's down the stretch and just a joke of a second have...Now I know why Puka and now Higashi have lost interest in this game...

HCA is massive... i used to bitch a lot about it when I was amongst the BB3 favourites because essentially 1 duff draw and you go out. Now there are many more factors like teams can buy up cheap monsters before games and some often train GS. FT's on average are better now..... but HCA still is the only variable that the computer controls and we just have to accept it.

This might be a perfect time for me to take a break from the game. I mean...watching sensational JSs light up my Wonderous OD's were a little much for me to take. I think Swoosh had a great game and it was a great win but the HCA took the fun out of it.
The fouls, missed FT's and the mismatches I had on offense( I only know I had mismatches because he had most of his players in the bin last night). I think from now I will just set my training to ? and just play my default lineup. With 3 JBBL teams going bot next month there is no way I will demote. The Next two Wednesdays I will be putting some ballers in the bin( my 21 yr old Argentine C will be a good grab for some one with Playoff aspirations( spelling could be wrong)
Maybe I will still make the playoffs( I am 11-1) with the 6-5 Higashi going bot soon. I still have a chance...

A belated congrats on your cup win this week sir.... so will we have 3 representatives in the BB3 next season?!

Izaman - you can't moan about not winning if you don't step up. You can see how the giant wage, game changing bohemoths are changing hands for 1.5mil a player right now. 2 of these bought and listed before Thursday night and you'd take a 20% hit on maybe 3mil max... and considering its 300k prize money for winning, the risk is much lower than any other season.

I can't believe I managed a 100+ point victory this season (ok ok against 3 players :D) but even so!! Maybe I should make a run to try finish 4th in the JBBL and take home the title..... see if it can be won without any HCA.... now how much money do I have?!

It would make an interesting play-off battle, that is for certain.

To be honest, i really thought my 162k a week guy would be good enough.

But one thing you also must consider, i would love to win the cup title, but it would make better sense for me to have a team that could compete in the bb3.

I know my team just isnt there yet. But i think one think this season has showed me is, on any given day, i can compete with pretty much any team IN THE CUP. Something about that game engine makes it more susceptible to upsets.

As for league play, its just a concious decision to pay to better my roster. Which i CAN do, but i really want to grow my team more "Organically". As in, i want japanese players that can contribute at least. So I have to at least take Kwakami to such a level before he is good enough to sub for a major baller in the game...because if the starter is too much better than him, he will get no run...which has been the case with him for a while now.

Ill be here for the cup runs and the jbbl playoffs every year mane. Know dat. I just have a rhythm to which i want to build my team by.

But i will say this.

Now that i have ZERO commitment to my bigs, next season may be on where i take on a big salary to win a couple big cup games.

Dont think i fell off, its just that to win the jbbl and get, what 300k? Well, that only pays me back a little bit of a beast's weekly salary. So until i think my team is really ready to kick tail in the bb3, I dont think its worth it to me to spend heavy to get there.
