Oh I think all would be welcome on this thread, as it looks there are more from outside 3.12 on here though (ex-3.12 guys), great to see baines and hooks back, sorry you other guys were before my time...

I've never been in this div, but it's a nice and active forum with some great managers and solid teams. :)

My team is nothing at the moment, I'm trying to tank to 7th for drafts coz i have like... a squillion dollars at the moment so relegation will be easy to avoid.

I'm just training my MVP PG, albeit 2 seasons too late. I was training a SG that i ended up selling and now have made my young aussie MVP the priority.

Jump Shot: tremendous Jump Range: average
Outside Def.: wondrous Handling: wondrous
Driving: marvelous Passing: proficient ↑

Hopefully i can get him to Sensational Passing this season then maybe Marvellous OD/Pass the season after and the rest 1 on 1 then I should be ready to promote to Div 2. :)

any suggestions or questions would be welcome :)

Just a couple of questions/inquiries...

1. How many gazillions?
2. Can I have some?
3. He looks nice, however his salary is only 15k which surprises me.
4. If you need a hand training guards have a word to either neeber, who posted earlier, he has trained a couple quality guards before he restarted. Or drop a line to skyhook who most recently has trained a pair of classy guards.

Yes, Like I said... "albeit 2 seasons too late". :( hence the low salary.
I wasted the best years of his training on poopy 1 on 1 and what not coz i was training Hayden Hannay who was my SG at the time. I had it all wrong and I regret all of it :P

I have 40 scouting points from a couple seasons and I'm hoping to finish 7th and spend them on a killer trainee to be trained properly.

I have heard of Neeber and his training skills so I might hit him up should I have questions.

wow you are all kinds of primed to make div 2. although you generally want your trainees ready to perform once you hit div 2. you could either go for a bit of a yo-yo between div 2 and 3 while you train your trainee up to div 2 standard or you can spend alot to stay up however take the risk of playing a raw 19-20 y/o in league games and hope they can handle it.

Um yeah so I'm expecting to have around 5mil by the end of season 22 at which point my current MVP should be div 2 standard. then I can be cheeky and buy a couple 80k+ big men for cheap and a decent combo/SG for not TOO much then really the only massive expense would be a decent starting SF :(

Alternatively, I could train for a few more seasons which could be like, this season next season train my MVP as PG and next season get a SF type to join him in that routine, then after that train bigs for 2 - 3 seasons then have my own home grown team, but by that stage my current trainee would be like 27/28... doesn't give much time before replacements become necessary.

arrrgh i dunno.

I have bought 2 Big Men with some decent skills but still looking for that trainee. Thanks to Leeroy for showing me the list of Australia 18-20 y.o. guys that could be trained.

I think that if i purchase correctly I could be in Div II nest season BUT I dont think i want to. I want to get a trainee, bloster him up for a season or 2 whilst saving my money's and then promote up. Will be interesting to see what happens.

My Div is much like Fashion Setters. No one is doing anything on the forums even though i tried. But I guess that is like alit of Div III's

Ask away if you want mate. I am not the best trainer out there but I guess I have been able to get 2 guy's into the Aus U21 side so I do know something about Guard training

Also on that fact its makes me happy to see Neil playing in the ABBL!!!!
