Well that's the second time my playoffs have been screwed by an injury to a crucial player in EBBL. Poor old Tigers too losing Barker today. The injury gods pretty much handed the title to Tata today save for a minor miracle.

Surely my player can't get injured in a walkover game?! play by play says he went off in the 1st quarter yet played 24mins in the box score?

Unfortunately, yes, your player can get injured in a walkover. Even worse, because injuries happen when a foul occurs, and fouls occur more often in a walkover game (yes there shouldn't be a game, but there is!), injuries are more likely to occur in a walkover.

Which makes allowing walkovers even worse in my opinion.

I assume the 24 minutes is standard for an injured player, since minutes played in the box score of a walkover never correspond to what happens in the play by play.

I don't see how you could have as bad a season again. You certainly deserve a bit of luck.

A bit more luck for us all would help, the timing of injuries for a lot of people this season have been terrible!

Injuries kind of forced my hand into rebuilding a little earlier than I planned but I'm delighted to have done so while winning 21 games. In Pierce-Horner-Canning I have a smart trio of 26/27 year olds and I've still got three good seasons to come from Simpson.
I have all next season to solve my SF issue while Millar holds down the fort and Sharpling and Adams to come off the bench as they start to slow down with age.
It's been a good season, so far.

Arrrrrrrggggggggg. I wrongly assumed the TB match would be today, I am doomed, there is no way I can win that match on Tuesday after selling one of my inside players today ( and my PG could be on his way too!!!). Silly old man!!! Well, I'll be back!!! Good luck to all next season. All the best to all.
