I love the sound of that...but I am afraid this is Cross Chargers Tourney to win...he's probably the best team in the country. They just beat TKI on the road...I sure doubt that they are worried about beating me on a neutral court. I'll be thrilled to to avoid Cross Chargers until the final and take a beating and go home with a Silver Cup trophy :-)

I'd like to avoid Anchorage as well....If I face Anchorage in the next round that's probably a 50/50 game on a neutral court...so the only thing on lock down for me is my team made the final 8, which is further than we deserved to go anyway.

EDIT: Probably doesn't matter much at this point...but i just realized I made a mistake in what i said above I wrote the original message from my cell phone, and had two thoughts in my head at once and really didn't finish the second point, or tie together what I was trying to say.

What I meant was: It was Eugene, not Cross Chargers that beat TKI on the road...All along I have felt TKI is the best team in the country, and they may in fact be...but the loss at home, makes me believe they are vulnerable & that Cross Chargers and their stacked team may actually be the best team in the country...especially since they have such a great chance to wrestle first seed by the end of the season. All eyes have been on TKI this season...but Cross Chargers could end up surprising and have a chance to win both major titles this season.

Either way, my team sucks, they are great; it's their Tourney to win, not mine LOL haha

What a slugfest between P Dogs and Ron Swan tonight.

Thank God you didn't set his transfer time a little bit later. I was already four beers in, a few more and who knows how high we would have gone. He is however a very nice American center.

The great8's final standings are known tonight.
The only uncertainty could have concerned the #4 and #5 seeds.
But my team is going to face Visionaries at their arena on TV.
And Flamengo will play an "easier" game against Marshland.
Morevoer my awful PD is not going to help me.

In big8, Cassville Yuck clinched the 1st seed and will have the HCA all the playoffs long.
But there could still be a few changes at the top.
Indeed #2, #3 and #4 seeds will be set only after the last games!
I think that other positions are definitively fixed.
In my opinion, the PD between Bombers and Penetrators seems too high.

There's some uncertainty left in the Great 8!

If TarTeam beats Visionaries (which is very realistic given last-day-of-regular-season enthusiasm choices) the #4/#5 spots are obviously up for grabs, but so is #1/#2. The Nuts are playing Ohio State and could make up the 130 point differential to sneak into first place!

Flamengo's game against Marshland is a tough one. Marshland was always better than their record indicates, and on top of that they just bought a China-NT PF for almost $4M.

Regardless, Yuck is a strong favorite to win it all but anything can happen.

Looks like you were right to pick chalk. You beat me, but I owe one to The Ohio State Buckeyes! for keeping it "close" with The Nuts. CRF Flamengo was able to punch their own ticket and I'll see them on Tuesday.

Well, you had a hell of a season. I knew you would end up winning that last game, so I went normal to get the W, but probably should've let go, 5th place is great when you know you can't win it all, I guess the ego wouldn't let it

Either way, congrats on a great season, you really know how to play this game. Looking forward to next season already, will be interesting

With the 5th place, I paid only half of my players salaries today (150K). With a PO game, I would have received half of the gate receipts and paid full players salaries, that wouldn't have made a big difference. But for fans happiness, I would have preferred to get a PO game tomorrow. ;)

Ya, that's really the difference. Especially as neither of us really had a chance in the first round.
