You in your limited world, look at the transfer history and think...uhm -1.5 million over a year must be better than +1.5 million over the same period, lol. If I pick the homeless guy outside my office, who can barely read and speak English, he will be able to understand that with money you buy things (ie the players, to spell it out for you) and those things (ie. the players) have a value. So even in the simplest terms you need to account for the current value of the players on a roster. How you compare to the guy in the street is another question...
So if you can point to other people, or link other users whom you think are much more successful than me, as if somehow you talking about someone elses team give YOU props.... that is good.

You can keep crying like a baby, but the fact remains that the 2 most successful managers in recent history in BB are Darkonza and LA-Saur0n and they have a -15m and -16m transfer history. The current WR #1 has -19m, Darkonza is #2, WR #3 has -23m, WR #4 -28m, WR #5 -8m, Saur0n is #6, WR #7 is +1m, WR #8 is -4m, WR #9 is -39m and WR #10 is -19m. All in all
you're looking at a total of - $170 million among the top 10 ranked teams in the game and you love world Ranking don't you lol?
