I am waiting for the merger too. Japan should be merged with at least Korea/india/ and the other that are under 30 users.
Funny story. I have an English teachers who translates the student's name into English and call them by the English version. For example; 黒川=black river 森=forest
The kids hate it and even some of them complain to their parents but he refuses to stop.

For me....if they don't merge Asia by 2018, I have to leave this game. They have already admitted on the forums that there is no one who can redesign or make a new GE. In my opinion, all they are doing is painting over the cracks.
