wow, Brazil is virtualy out... The fact that Uruguay played CT can't be bad for us either. I will analyze more later, now I'm still on the car on the way home.

If the tiebreaker is head-to-head (pretty sure that's the case), then Brazil can't finish higher than third in this group now. That would get them into the second-chance qualifiers. They'll need to beat the hosts PerĂº next week to do that.

It's strictly point differential.

A CT? Really?
Any two will do
Any three for me
Any four will score
Any five are live

I don't know what to say...
Very risky strategy from Uruguay. Two CT in a row... I wasn't expecting this, not sure it was best strategy for them, but it worked for this game, I guess. To be honest, I think they will only make the second chance qualifiers now.

Well, one game to go.

Interesting is that in the Uruguayan forums the coach was saying they will surely lose to Canada, which made me assume they will try to regain their enthusiasm to get better chances for later.

We also had our best Power Forward injured for the game, but I think we could have won the game even without him.

We will just have to deal with the next game.

Also, another chance is that if Peru wins next game, we finish just third, even with 4 wins vs 1 loss.

Very clever of them to figure that a 3-2 defense would be effective against us. It's like our tactics were 100% predictable.
