Ok... If we implement certain time for matches for Season 1, I guess it would be then necessary to assign a time for each team, based on location. For instance if it would be 4PM EET, then for your team it would be 10PM, and to some team in Eastern USA 10AM. However, Australia and USA are big countries, so it also affects what part of country one is in.
Yes, however, this is where I think it becomes difficult as we have teams from across the world in different time-zones and only a few weeks left to be certain we have them correct.
With that said, if we could do this, and create 'time-zone difference' data, we could use that for future seasons too.
Do we have time? How will we go about it? I tried googling time-zone translations/difference with no luck. I will keep trying.
Exactly, it's something we could utilize for future seasons as well. And gathering time zone data from teams joining HGL later would then be a breeze. I already had such time zone chart in mind, however, at that time I thought it would be handy to do it for communicative purposes. But it would well serve this purpose as well.
As for as time zone difference map, I've sometimes used a map found from wikipedia. I don't know if it's absolutely correct, but it has given me some guide at least. Greatest problem/challenge we're going to have would likely be with "wide" countries (AUS, USA, etc.), that spread over multiple time zones. We would just have to ask managers at which time zone they reside.
It's understandable some living in big countries might not want to reveal their location in terms of town, but I guess time zone isn't too "identifiable/sensitive information" so to speak.
