No one can tell you exactly because he may have high sublevels or low sublevels. I'd say it would take around probably two weeks to three weeks.

Can anyone help me estimate how many weeks it will take to get a pop in inside defense on a 6'0" player, 21 years old, with a level 5 trainer, on single position training? Anyone have experience with this?

I was training similar players in inside scoring and they were popping 2-3 weeks.

I'm here to report about fast Passing training and elastic effect...

I've been training one-position PA for 5 weeks now with 1 on 1 training thrown in. Trainer level is 5. My main trainee Polh looked like this before I started with Pa training:

Jump Shot: prominent Jump Range: strong
Outside Def.: prominent Handling: prominent
Driving: prominent Passing: respectable

Now, after 5 weeks of PA training:

Jump Shot: prolific Jump Range: strong
Outside Def.: prominent Handling: prolific
Driving: prolific Passing: prolific ↑

So 4 pops in 5 weeks. I think PA is really the fastest training there. I know he probably had high sublevel, especially because he popped from Respectable to Strong after only one training, but 4 pops in 5 weeks is nice anyway. He went from Respectable to Proficient in two weeks, than one week nothing, then from Proficient to Prolific in two more weeks. He always played full 48 minutes.

I have also seen evidence of this, my 20 year old 6'3 trainee had average passing then after 2 weeks of training he popped to strong.(16933322) I will repost when I train passing in two weeks. (I will be training driving this week)
Original Skills:
Jump Shot: sensational Jump Range: prolific
Outside Def.: wondrous Handling: prominent
Driving: prominent Passing: strong ↑

Did he get that JS pop as a secondary pop? Because according to the original post Passing doesn't train JS.

No doubting you but was asked this on our NT forum.

No, that pop came from 1 on 1 training in between 5 weeks of PA training (that week I screwed the minutes).

quick question from a new guy: for multiple week training needs, how important is it that the weeks be consecutive?

as long as you can still fit in all the necessary training weeks into your training schedule, it's pretty irrelevant. If you don't see a training pop, that doesn't mean the player hasn't improved; and his improvement will stay stored in the database.

That said, there should be a clear distinction between trainees andd non-trainees on your team. Training all positions a little won't get you far in most cases.

That's what I was hoping you'd say. Thanks.
