It was something like Pierce, KG and Terry to Brooklyn for 4 draft picks + Reggie Evans + Kris Humphries + Gerald Wallace.

Alex Len gooks okay and stuff but I'd rather the Suns chose Ben McLemore. Potential future all star SG right there. But 7 foot centers are hard to come by in the NBA and the Suns are probably still eyeing Eric Gordon.

Good point about Eric Gordon, I never picked up on that. They might trade Gortat, Beasley and one of those 2017 Lakers first rounders they got via Nash sign and trade. Something alomg the lines of that, that way the Pelicans fill in that C spot and they get Beasley and might be able to experiment with him on the team OR (since beasley has a bad contract for his value) they could replace Beasley with Shannon Brown.
Energetic player off the bench for the Pelicans and then Phx lineup would look like:
PG Dragic/Kendall/Garrett
SG Gordon/Wes Johnson
SF Dudley/PJ/Beasley
PF Scola/Kieff/Marcus
C Len/O'neal (if we resign him)

And if possible, we can entice Greg Oden to come with our phenomenal training staff and move Len to PF and trade Scola for some picks?
I like that idea. We could potentiall be playoff bound

close:

Brooklyn has agreed to send three first-round picks (2014, '16 and '18) along with Kris Humphries' expiring contract, Gerald Wallace, Tornike Shengelia, Reggie Evans and a sign-and-traded Keith Bogans to the Celtics for Pierce, Garnett and Terry.

So next years draft the C's will have 3 first rounders (their own which should be lottery, Clippers from Doc deal (low to high 20's), and now the Nets (again low to high 20's). Their own lottery pick plus one of the other first round picks should almost get them the #1 in a trade if the other team was insterested

I suspect they will once he has been back for a while and proves he has recovered from the ACL.

Having said that they have plenty of cap room to hang on to him and let him lead the next generation

What a starting lineup for the nets
Lopez
Garnett
Johnson
Pierce
Williams
With guys like Terry, Blatche, Brookes Plumlee and others coming off the bench.
Is this the NBA's first big five, I think so and with depth off the bench wow look out finals. What would be perfect for them is to fire j Kidd resign him as the backup point guard and then go sign the zen master as their new coach to manage all the egos.
The nets should now send the heat an email simply saying "your move"

Surprising to me that C.J. McCollum was pick 10 overall and 4th out of the SGs. Magic really screwed this one up as Portland keeps finding good G's. Too bad they dont develop them as well as other teams can.

Olipado is a very safe pick.

Of all players, he's the most likely to never bust. The intangibles are there.

Players like McLemore and Len have all the talent in the world, but have poor work rate and attitudes. Hence why McLemore slid out of the top 5.

Well the Pelicans just got Jru Holiday, so they might want to get rid of Eric Gordon with all the bad blood that has been accumulating.

By trading Jrue Holiday for Nerlens Noel, the Sixers are also tanking the season and going for Wiggins. Hope the Suns tank it as well and steal Wiggins from the Celtics and the Sixers =P

Phoenix management sucks!
Kendell Marshall is a bust...
Signing Beasley to that contract was a bust...
That contract they gave to Josh Chidress was a bust...
Wes Johnson is a bust...

The only good thing they did was wrap up Dragic and bidding on the cheap contract of Scola.

Wes Johnson wasn't a bust ! When they gave him a starting role towards the end of the season, he played quite well. And Kendall Marshall has lots of room to develop especially with Hornacek as coach of the Suns. Mind you, his FG% was .371 and 3pt % was .315 which is bad, but not ATROCIOUS. So I can see him improving this season.

Also, Beasley was a bust but you have to agree that he definitely has the potential and showed that with a couple 25 pt games here and there. But he is a nut case ahhaha so I wouldn't know whether to keep him or just ship him away - but question is, what would we get in return?
