Believe it or not HA does train some players.

Pedrosa who is HAs most important player has spent 8 seasons being trained as a small forward and currently HA has delusions about turning Sahin into an ABBL beast and Cauycong and Nefi into top ABBL players

Perhaps HA now tends to "top up train" purchases rather than fresh faced 18 year olds, but HAs first trip to the ABBL was on the back of several seasons of small forward training to Pedrosa and Fallon, the later who was sold to bank roll some acquisitions.

Good luck to all this is certainly a very interesting league to watch.

Be interesting to see some polling of who people expect to win and perhaps Yoda who has just had his wings clipped would be kind enough to calculate out some odds.

I fear Smeltz who claims he is already losing interest might drop the ball if he cant buy his way back to the ABBL.

He certainly has lots of potential oppossition

Id personally hate for HA to relegate down to this league

as was evident from the first game, all before me will just succumb to me so hopefully i wont need to buy my way bak to the ABBL but rather get there with the team at hand

Hi Smeltz it looks like you've been reading HAs 15th season book on Gamesmanship.

I had everyone conned that I was still looking for further acquisitions despite being in reality almost bankrupt

Sorry to expose you but despite your best intentions you were unable to resist the temptations and consequently failed to tank properely last season in the ABBL.

Your team isnt balanced properely and you set your bleachers too high in price meaning that you will lose a mint every week.

I fear that if you are unable to buy your way back into the ABBL this season that the "fountain of tanking cash" will evaporate and you will lose interest in the game and go bot.

That all said Id sincerely love you to make it back to the ABBL because you are a true character and would certainly help add some extra colour to the forums

Good luck for the season

my team has smeltz thats all thats needed in div II ohla ;)
1st wk of economic updates have been done and the damage is not too severe
we'll see how the gate is 2moro but as long as i keep winning, i'm not too worried about the arena prices
i've got supporter paid up till june 2012 so i aint going anywhere till at least then!
and lastly, make sure you dont relegate this season, cause i'll surely be back there next season ;)

Mate if we could get Yoda, HA, Whitebeard and Smeltz in the ABBL all at the same time it would be like the old days in divII.3.

Just need Vios to promote and Koops and Fat Boy to stay up and the forum would be a different world to that of the present.

On a very sad note the great Beechy has gone, never recovered fully from HA breaking his spirit in season 15.

Where are all my special government handouts?

I thought minority groups got lots of government handouts, or were they the promotion bonuses?

Seriously, the game is a "basketball management game", I dont see the logic in paying 3 mill for an 18 year old trainee, so that your team can underperform in games for 5 years whilst you use your valuable training on him to sculpture him into a champion, when you could just buy a ready made champ for the same money.

Nothing wrong with the 24 year old Sahin who HA got for $2.45 mill who with one full HA season of training should become a national team player.

Just an opinion Mr Fishy but HA does train , he just prefers to buy works in progress rather than expensive 18 year old kids

looking @ ur team gives me bad memories of midnight express :P

& ur looking @ the wrong governement this 1 likes 2 send minorities 2 malaysia or png 4 processing

i think paying 3 million 4 a trainee is nutty 2 (sorry iwen)

most i paid was 900k 4 the wang & i only paid that much cause
1 i was in a bidding war
2 he was an aussie mvp
3 he already had good inside skills
4 he was an asian-australian
5 he had a funny name

2nd most ever is 740k but sold a few weeks later 4 a good profit

3rd most is 300k

& i never claim 2 be the expert in training who else is training a 28yo? ;)
