Good to hear, Master Yoda...although you and many of us are quieter than user. There is definately a lull in the aussie community I think...

obviously "everyone" is an exaggeration mate.

But the proof is in the forum activity really.
Bains is leaving, skyhookz left, JW said he's not far from gone.
Iwen comes and goes in spurts. That's only a few names I know, but in terms of active managers and what they have given to the community it seems bigger than maybe it is.

It just seems that perhaps this game is getting a bit long in the tooth for some, I having been playing since mid-late 2010, most have been playing longer than I too.


if you spend up to try and stop me, I will trounce you back into the dirt with my banked millions. so feel free champ. it wont end well. ;)

Yeah, I know what you're saying...I feel it too...it does seem like many are pulling the pin. I think it's amplified when the managers we know well start to drop away...Iwen foremost among them. Hopefully it is simply a lull and something gets the Aussie community excited again. I still think BB needs to do more in terms of advertising and getting a crap load of new aussie managers into this game. Nothing gets experienced managers (both in skill and/or time in the game) more enthusiastic than when new blood arrive and spice up the place...

...as for me buying up. Look out, mate...comin' for ya now with my saved millions. I could buy your team twice over...I could buy them for fun them sell them...okay I could buy a few decent players...okay maybe a couple of Naker's geriatric rejects...okay maybe I'd struggle to buy a new towel boy...

...The Oaks finances and team aren't too flash at present but we'll be ready to rock and roll next season...okay maybe in a few seasons...alright maybe in season 30 if we're lucky...ahh f&@k it...we'll never be ready!

Last season there was a great deal of buzz about the U21 team thanks to Mickyster and Sid. It is that level of richness and depth that make the game enjoyable and superior to others. Missing it this season.

I think there need to be more competitions within the main competition. There's a lot of "rubbish" to clean up, too. I'm sure peeps know what I mean.
