I expect its partially my fault, due to my weekly income at the economy update being a ridiculous negative.

Now I've actually had a home ABBL game, its much better

Well I have to admit that since I arrived, I've chopped and changed my roster significantly. Before Sibley sold I was up around the $850k mark. Back to a respectable mid $700 now and in the profit zone.

Just hope I don't have to waste any savings just to stay afloat this season. Would have been nice to land over there with the tankers...

Hey we are not all tankers. We are just a bit more conservative than you high rollers.

Perhaps not but it still would have been nice to land over there on the "soft" side of the league. L:)

even though its "soft" over on this conference, its still bloody hard to get a top five spot. When in a relegation series battle, anything can happen as evident from last season.

The sweet little Goldfish after spending the whole season swimming in cash, turns into a bit of Rogue Shark come Relegation time

I reckon a 700K roster (which is about what I'm carrying) would probably be good enough to have a real crack at 5th in the great 8, and perhaps sneak into the playoffs. At the very least, you'd get home court in the playoffs.

Over here, it probably gets you autorelegated.

Surely someone in the big 8 wants to tank? Think of all that money?

What we need is for all those tankers in the Tanking 8 to get knocked out of the cup in the first 3 or 4 rounds.

If they have an easy run through in the cup they are likely to buy up for the cup finals and try and win it.

As for tanking in the Big 8, I will probably do this possibly in about a season and a halfs time after which point I wont be a serious threat in the ABBL until about season 37

I already tanked out in my first visit, so no way in hell I'm doing that again.

A few more home losses like tonight's and I might have to reconsider...
