Yet other teams who are in the playoffs with the funds available to take out the ABBL title aren't willing to budge a cent since they are content with finishing as non-title contenders.

I am content with staying up this year but i had a red hot crack at the cup. If i beat BLS (5 point loss) i would have taken out the cup - i added 190k of wages to try and take him down but it didn't happen. yes i still have a very hand bankroll to play with but it wasn't worth taking a shot at the title this year as i had 3 guys injured heading into the playoffs and i'm training up an MVP 20yo that will be a force in a season or 2's time.

No point in blowing my wad too early.

I make no bones about the fact that i want to have an ABBL trophy and a Aussie Cup title on my wall. It just might be something that takes me a few seasons to get.

I regret to conclude the following

Datzilla must be dead and if not then hes in hospital recovering from a heart attack and will have another heart attack when he finds out about the injury to Duffman.

Anyone saving up to buy Duffman for when his team goes bot ?

No offence but how did Hadders make it to the cup final with that team? Can't beat Datzilla without Duffman in fact started the 4th down 21 before coming back a bit in garbage time.

Hunter Hawthorn (13436296) a 24 year old starter potential with Weekly salary: $ 17 092 completly destroyed him. Is the ABBL or division III?

Datz doesn't have a bad team even with the injury of Duffman. His guards were definitely a big difference. If Hadders went inside I'm sure he could have fouled out both of Datz's 20k big men. But Hawthorn scoring 40? Might be even luckier than Koop. :P

Besides that, not everybody play the game the same way. Some actually have a bit of luck with the cup draw or even prefer the cup over the league. :P

As you can see Hadders have made the top 4 of the Cup more times than some of the best. I guess he prefers the cup?
