Check out my Utopia team, as a decent example. I sold out my arena for the last home game @ 13 500. So, even in D IV you could probably get 15 000+ attendance when playing against the non-bot teams.

Looks like this season I'll focus on upgrading my stadium then. :)

Was there something done with stamina in the offseason? I find it hard to believe that three players in one week would drop a level in stamina. 48-65 minutes for all of them. What gives?

Hi. Me again with more questions:

1. Let's say that my player A played 48 hours as PF and 48 hours as C this week. I chose Rebounding >> PF/C as training. Would he train double? I highly doubt that but can't hurt to ask.

2. On the game Box-Score page, I see ratings like

average (high)
pitiful (medium)

I've read the Game Manual but didn't get it. What does "average" mean and what does "high" mean?

3. DMI of the player I bought increased from 17500 to 40700. Considering he didn’t gain anything in the training, what might be the cause of that sudden increase? I understand that most people don't care about DMI but I still want to know what might cause its increase more than double.

4. I also see this on the Box Score page.
Game-Day Prep
Balanced Focus --
Normal Pace

There are green ticks next to them. Does that mean that my guess was correct?

Tnx in advance.

EDIT: Added the 4th question.

Maybe I asked my questions wrong.

1. But what does 100% mean? If I understood correctly, a player only trains 100% if he is training in one position. So skills like Rebounding that can only be trained for 2 positions (C/PF) train at 70% speed.

I am asking this because if that's true, Rebounding is more valuable than Inside Shot because it trains slower no matter what you do.

2. Are you saying that the phrase in parenthesis gives the decimal value? As in, it is Average, so 6, but closer to 7 if high.

3. His Game Shape changed from 7 to 8. Can that really increase a DMI from 17k to 40k? If so, is game shape really important in the game?

3b. How can I increase the game shape?

to 1: training rebound is a typical "6"-position-training and most effective for PF/C = 100% ... for PG/SG only 70%.

to 2: only the training differs. Some skills are most effective to train for 3 trainees (i. e. inside shot, inside defense ...), others for 6 trainees (jump shot, 1on1, rebound ...).

to 3: yes.

to 4: perfect minutes = 65-75 minutes per week and (if financial possibly) sport-psychologist.

1. Skills that can be trained at two positions (like RB) require you go give the player 48+ mins (45+ for 18/19 y.o.) in either of the two positions in order to get full training. If we take RB as an example - the trainee could play 48 mins as a PF or 48 mins as a C or 30 mins @ PF + 18 mins @ C. Doesn't really matter as long as the combined in the two positions is over 48.

2. Yep, that's right. Low is x.00-x.33, medium is x.34-x.66, high is x.67-x.99.

3. Yep again. Game shape is a vital part of the game (as it is irl). DMI stands for Deliberately Meaningless Index. It is not really relevant in terms of player quality because it mostly represents main skills values and also includes FT as well. It could be utilized to calculate the exact levels of the player's game shape (e.g. x.42) however, as long as you know what it was in the beginning of the season (that's the only time when we know for sure that the GS is exactly 7.00.

4. The main thing is to make sure your players get 48-72 minutes playing time in the three "main" games every week. Those are the two league games + the cup/scrimmage game. Some of the staff could help you with it too. The massage doctor lets your players stay on the court for a bit longer than those 72 mins without being penalized (high stamina helps with that too) and the psychologist boost game shape greatly too. The latter is deemed to be somewhat OP actually.
