…or you can get my former job in two seasons and go against juice. :)

REEEEEEEEEEEEEEETIRED

Does this mean a return to the summit for the Auerbachs?

I always enjoy to be a fly on the wall for the US debate. I agree with the main point that runs in the early part of the debate; If you have a player in continuous poor GS you have to spend time communicating/mentoring the manager of that player. Their lack of motivation can't be questioned, they either forked out good money for the trainee or are prepared to do whatever it takes to ensure the player gets the best training possible so it should just be a case of arm around the shoulder and see if you can assist them manage another important aspect of the game (minute management). The only time I would then cut the player off the roster is if the manager in question ignored or thinks they know better and the GS didnt improve to the required standard.

I was interested to read one candidate saying if you dont have average FT you won't get many minutes. Whats the feeling on stamina in the NT?

Ok, so working with the U21 Manager as a team is a big part of holding the NT job. It's sorta like you are the president and the U21 is your vicepresident.

So I'd like to hear who your ideal candidate for U21 position next season would be, and who you would absolutely hate to work with.

I'd also like to know how long you guys are planning to be the NT manager. We've had pretty long terms from Juice and Coco has had 4 seasons. Is more turnover good, or is the stability of having a single manager better in your opinion?

Even Inez and Grubbs are no longer clear first choices.

When was Eric Grubbs a clear first choice? Good player, yes...

by the way thats an awesome team name

always wanted to say that.

If you win the election, and the team is struggling, you have to promise to say:

"Juicepats is not walking through that door. Brianjames is not walking through that door. Cococolomono is not walking through that door. People don't realize that, and as soon as they realize those three guys are not coming through that door, the better this team will be for all of us."

Promise?

Well that's it then, I dislike your management, and officially dislike you now as well.
WHy would I contribute, when I never liked your management of the team?

You could say its carpet bagging, but it's better than me belitting your decisions game by game. God knows I am active in this game (log in pretty much every day, talk frequently with a variety of managers to expand my thought process about the inner workings of the game). You had your inner advisors, and the group think that resulted from it led to the results we had.

I wanted no association with your regime. I'm amazed that people think you were successful. I think with the resources at our disposal, not having a single appearance in the finals is nothing but a failure on your part.

I realize that if there was a national perception of you as a failure that would hurt. You care about your legacy deeply, and on the club level that is secure. However, you have had 3 cracks at it, and have failed to overachieve in any of those attempts. In baseball you would be out on strikes.

Simply put, you failed. You had awesome resources, and wasted them. It will only get tougher for America from here. If you, as a voter reading this, thnk that Juice was successful, you clearly wont want to vote for me. I will do things differently. Very differently. You may not like me, but my team has been successful, regardless of what coco said (my first season i joined 20 games into the season and didnt really log in till the next season)

As for alienation, I would not want anyone that got us to where we were, that's true. That's not to say that I dont have a good network of friends, real life and otherwise in this game, some at very high levels. I would lean on them, and I would make my own decisions.

If there is a different candidate that thinks things need to change, and dramatically, and you think they are better, then by all means vote for them.

However, the post i previously referenced here: http://itmightbedangerous.blogspot.com/2008/06/draft-review-about-process.html

Well that couldnt be more true

The graph part of the way down sums it up. You could have one term, and be truly unlucky. But over the long term, you end up in either the top left or bottom right boxes. I maintain we underachieved and are now deservedly in the bottom right box.

Championship teams will occasionally have a bad process and a good outcome. Championship organizations, however, reside exclusively in the upper half of the matrix. Some years it may be on the right-hand side, most years should be on the left
-----------------

I will leave it to the reader to where we reside. I will say that if the d3 guy wins and wants my help, i will give it to him. Realistically though, if the continuation of the prior regime wins, there is no reason for me to contribute, unless if the candidate enjoys getting heckled.

Quite frankly, I wouldn't vote for you if you were the only candidate.

You have shown zero interest in the USA NT except when election time comes.

Azariah is a newer member, and I think he cares about the NT past the fact that he has a chance to run it, unlike you.

wozzvt clearly cares about the NT even though he has not been the coach - he's done a fantastic job of helping to build our scouting infrastructure and database of player skills. This is not something he had to do, and something he wasn't even asked to do - he volunteered and got it done.

It would be a terrible thing for the USA NT to see someone who is in it only for themselves, who runs away and hides if he doesn't get his way, and seems to be more interested in promoting himself than anything else.

I have no use for someone who wants to be a big talker but hides his bashing comments towards me. At least you were classy in the aftermath of your failed South Africa campaign: (78034.1)

Past that, performance is the thing that counts. I don't think you have th

Here's one for you all. If you lost would you still help out the team?

100% depends on whos running it.

If someone sincerely wanted my help, gladly.

I plan to still be around as the grandfatherly sage-like advice dispenser if the winner wants it.

I know of at least one candidate that has a history of abandoning the USA NT scene if they don't get their way (i.e. win).

Juice, you have been our only nt manager. Given our antpathy towards eachother, its clear I would only help you if you had just been hit by a car, or a bus.
