I was away for a while, so my apologies for not having been part of these interesting discussions

Let me try to recap some interesting things, as discussions here are always intriguing.

But before yesterday's game, the lowest paid Indonesian U21 player would be more dangerous to us than the most expensive Italian U21 player because the point is, we're playing against the Indons, not the Italians.

this is one of the two points were our points of view are far away. To me, the goal is to aim to excellence, that is to the top that is allowed by a number of constraints (number of active managers and quality of draftees is of course one of them). Although we agree that salary is not the same as player skills and effectiveness, let me suppose here we are devoloping well these players so salary is strictly related to player effectiveness (that is we worked well). The result can be the same as:

4. New Zealand, with their pair of 80k Centers

Unless those 80K come out of SB only (a wonderful 15 ;)), these players can make the difference, especially if supported by two 40K guards and a passable sf (may be a "fat boy", or a PF with high OD, or simply a solid SG with some secondaries). SF is typically a compromise in U21.

So, to me Malaysia, as South Africa or any other U21, should aim to have the best possible players. This is typically translated in high salary, but a well structured player (as my Scalambrieri or Rehberge) worth each single penny. Of course (looking also at NT thread), a PG with just HN/DR and poor shooting will have high salary and bad performances, so that is not the goal (we are fully aligned here).

BTW, I still wonder why in BB you don't have tools as newsletter that are available in HT and simplify a lot all this work.

2. Team scouts. We need a squad who are responsible for monitoring the activity of certain divisions. Then we will know how many active users we actually have and which new team just popped up and which team hasn't logged in for a while, which will help out in assigning teams to mentors in our MMP and our effort in saving homeless kids.

You can remember we debated about this. I do think this is a key part of U21 program. To me, a scout should also be a mentor. It is not just a question of looking in a division (that MUST be done at the beginning of a season, to set immediately appropriate program), but to build relationships with managers and help them, wherever needed, to learn how to train the talent, how to improve own team, how to play better and better.

I find your MMP very interesting, and something could be added to my blueprint, but definitely to me scouts must be mentors. As I am with "my" assigned players.

Talking about salaries, this is not a U21, but a NT player in Italy. Not bad...

Andrea Nappa (4619403) Guardia
JS 18
JR 14
OD 16
HN 14
DR 16
PA 13
IS 4
ID 6
RB 6

and look at his teammates....

and think I will play against them this evening....

Lol I saw a 500k player too, just sold by a B3 champion... His price was around a million, but I didn't bid on him because he would cause me to go bankrupt..

a player like that can cause bankruptcy even if you only look at him!!!
