This move comes across as ugly patchwork to hole in the system. The GE doesn't reward well balanced teams as it should so instead of fixing that a rock-paper-scissors gimmick gets introduced.

Of course, everything depends on how it actually works in reality. But I think that it actually would reward balanced teams who can play different strategies effectively.

Instead of adding another choice it'd be nice if the GE itself was engineered to be more realistic.

I want to say good job for the new features/changes and for the upcoming ones... I like ALL of them

But I'm questioning myself about two things announced in S24:
1) What about the time limit for users to candidate themself or vote in the election? I see no news about it.
2) What about WOs? Last season they announced for this season that giving a WO would drop your team by 1 position in the draft... is it implemented already or not?

If I wanted to play rock-paper-scissors, if I wanted to play a game of pure chance, I would do so instead of playing BuzzerBeater.
Something like that has no place in a game where it takes you multiple years to train players and improve your team.
There's already a lot of chance involved and you could lose a season's effort in one unlucky game, now you're pretty much guaranteed to lose a close game if you guess wrong (wrong tactics+bonus) ?
I don't like it. That's not fun.

You're not forced to guess, you can play the game as it is right now. No bonus / no malus.
This change is aimed to build balanced teams, so they won't play LI the entire season.
Honestly a very well thinking from the BBs.

You have mentioned decrease pf JR and SB influence to player's salary. But how about fullfill of potential? Is influence of JR and SB for potential decreased as well? For NT and top clubs it's very important maybe even much important than salary.

Either the bonus is so big that you're practically forced to guess against anyone whose team isn't clearly inferior or it's so small that you'd ignore it most of the time. I don't see it working well.

Moreover, it also applies to teams that only play an outside game, which isn't nearly as strong as playing look inside only (as I had to realize myself last season), so this change does absolutely nothing against the causes of LI being too strong.
If nothing else changes then we'll still see LI vs LI and both teams with the bonus. Pretty pointless, if you ask me.

Well it somewhat does.
As I said, this change is not made specifically against LI, but it aims to see more balanced teams around. That means: you should not be stuck with 1 strategy only. In this moment, though, the dominante strategy is LI, so the result of this change is that LI will be penalized. Let's say that tomorrow R&G will be the dominant strategy, this new rule will fight against R&G dominance. This is made to avoid a large dominance of 1 tactic (doesn't matter which one) and enforces manager to try different things.
Honestly, I don't see a downside on this change.
