My little buy up and pretend run at winning has ended up costing only a couple hundered thousand.
Still have a nice increase in my bank balance this season. See what comes on the market early next season if I try from the start to do well. But probs focus on training again.

Thanks - I expect the next game will be more interesting. I had to POCT against Tigers as well so I think Coasters now have a distinct enthusiasm advantage.

If I do promote, that's my final goal for BB in terms of where I want to get. I don't really care about winning ABBL or the cup (I don't know why) and my team is starting to age and I only have 4 mill left (5 mill on promo I guess), so I may sell up and start training from scratch again and go with my only other final goal - making a team of misfit skill retards.

I'll probably try to stay in ABBL for one season and then sell up (if I get there). If I fail I expect I'll sell up at start of next season.

Nothing wrong with selling up your players once you make the ABBL especially if they are aging and the market is like it is

Be careful of the trap of fighting tooth and nail to stay up, when the odds are heavily against you.

I hope to go up next season and with the current market value my team being worth 15 or 16 mill, I think this is achievable especially given that I wont be spending as much time training Katum and Williams and I also have brought into the team Simmonds and Chiappori both of whom wont be playing out of position

I don't mind spending the entire 4 mill to stay up for a season. Hopefully it won't be necessary but there's not much more I need the cash for anyway.

Will see how it goes.

$4 Mill will only buy one really good player in this current market.

If you do promote make sure you set all your prices to the maximum for the first part of the season

Well done to Coasters who have an amazingly effective Princeton roster - I would love to see his players' skills. He was close to only half of my salary after my buy up near the end. I got a little worried after the second game when he PON and still thrashed me (final score looks closer than the rest of the game).

Now I get to promote, I'll set my prices to maximum, see what the first few weeks are like/what the market is like and will either try to stay in ABBL for a season or start tanking straight away. It'll be hard to say good bye to Sacks but he did teach me a few lessons about training (and how useless JR is/how underpriced OD is).

Thanks all for the past few seasons, maybe I'll see you next season!

Sid, are you sure about maximum?

I look at someone like YSD who spent most of their season at near capacity and their prices are no where near maximum - should I be aiming for 10% higher than theirs or something or do you really think near max post promo?

I demoted and came 2nd last in my season in ABBL but had one of the highest gate takes for the season.
I would be super close to max if not max.
