Seems a number of aussie managers have plenty of money to throw at a certain young aussie

1 and a half hours to go in his auction and hes still about 1.3 mill under his purchase price as an 18yo.

No doubt that all the losing bidders will solely turn their attention to the player I previously listed (227453.564)

Well, that was a big, long bid war at the end there. Exactly the reason why i've never liked the back and forth minimum bids, it always seems to balloon out a lot further than expected. Just go in there and bid big straight up if you really want a player imo.

Never heard of this Learvins guy but hopefully he knows how to train and takes good care of Alan Guest.

One question i would have with that bid war though is how does a team that's been in div3 since season 19 and already spent over 4mil in the last 6 months still have over 3.6mil for this purchase? Crazy.

My son who hasnt taken the game seriously for at least 5 or so seasons, and who at his best, only spent the one season in Div 2, but otherwise has bounced between Div 3 and Div 4, has over 10 Million in savings

well his 2 most recent buys are up for sale, so he must have spent close to his last cent. But still, impressive job on money hoarding in div 3
