To be honest, I didn't. Could you explain again, so someone (perpete, me, or anyone else) can give you a more satisfying answer?

I asked: Can someone tell me when does inside defense train faster?
Which skills do I need to train first so that I can get maximum speed?
I wanted to say if there is a specific skill that needs to be high enough so that ID trains faster... e.g. if rebound is higher... then you might get results faster. Earlier someone said if you have high OD you train faster JR. Does anyone have any hints for ID?

ok, now I get it.

Rebounds, Shot Blocking, Inside Shot and perhaps Driving are the skills you should be looking for. If they are relatively high, ID trains faster, too.

It's often not worth the hassle to train those up to get faster ID training though, since they will train slower themselves as long as ID is low...

Yes if you are in the school of thought that shotblocking is not worth having.

Huh? why do you single out shotblocking in that discussion? All I was saying was that if you want to train ID fast, training other related skills beforehand might be slower than pulling up all those skills at the same time. That has nothing to do with Shot Blocking per se.

Some may prefer to keep their players with shotblocking as low as possible. And so they may put ID as the last inside skill to train (as ID training also adds SB). It makes a difference to, for example, if you train ID first.

I don't think I could follow you there. If anything, the difference will probably be so marginal as to be meaningless. Also, I think people ignore SB at their own peril. Zone defenses do rely on it to work, for example.

I have already said not everyone would agree with this. There is no need for you to react like this.

8 weeks of JS SF/PF for 19yo 213 player (his JS was lowest skill of all) resulted in only two pops. i guess height does influence JS training speed. 5 lvl trainer, 48mins always.
