I think I've answered this previously ... probably more than once. And I stand by my answer.

Well, I read the whole thread (we've passed the 500 posts by the way).

It's not only a matter of making less money, BB is experiencing some changes and we all need to adapt to that. And the fact that the BB's said, that they want everyone to have to make choices is a good thing.
The transfermarket will have to adjust in the coming season, prices must and will go down.

I thought I read somewhere that the new staff system also contents lower salaries, but I'm not sure about this.

And I think that teams who are in DIII or lower, can't afford players with huge salaries and therefor shouldn't have those players, but this is an effect of the inflation. Those teams could make a lot of money, the last seasons, and buy 1 or 2 of these players. Now they had a salaryraise and they expect to keep them. That is not reasonable.

And I think a lot of people are just scared. There's one week in which they lose money and everyone is making the wrong decisions. The majority of the users can cope with these changes, but a few can't. This is, I think, there own fault.

And of course the changes will need some finetuning, but we are all human and so are the BB's. So we wil just have to wait and see.

Of course it's their own fault.

After all, they were the ones who were foolish anough to base their long term planning around one set of rules only to suddenly have the rules changed.

How could they be so ignorant.

its not about being ignorant,

sometimes in life we can mis calculate things, you cant seem to be sure to plan you life all through out and follow it the rest of the way . . . .. right!

same as here, there is nothing of sureness, life changes , people change, that how life is!

as much as we wish things to fall in the best for us, 99% of the way its not.

dont you think the changes made right now didnt hurt not just the players but the bb's also, in deciding a big thing such as this needs boldness and courage and a correct sense of thought.

they are running a business here, this changes might hurt them now or even lose people playing this game but in the long run its going to be healthy and surely if you stick to iy in the long run, im sure its a fun thing to watch

we are all going through this, so i say do your best because if it become unpleasant as we go along another change might be just around the corner

to have error is human but to change is divine!

They could perhaps be so ignorant as to not expect a brand new game to change, occasionally radically, as it matures.

Maybe would be better that we have salary caps for each league level.
And second thing, for example if someone has earnings more than 5 millions at season then buzzerbeater federation can take as tax all money over this sum.
Or maybe to put in transfers max price for player, so all money offered over it will be taken by buzzerbeater federation. But seems it is not so good idea.

Losing side of the cup or b3 game should also get money... atleast half of what the winner gets..

12,5k would be so ridicoulous, but it would be correct.

He claimed it was their own fault their teams are now in financial difficulties. This is a suggestion of ignorance.

I also never said anything about the changes not affecting the BBs or anyone else for that matter. I said that you cannot simply say it's their own fault.

I don't know what exactly you are trying to tell me, because none of it relates whatsoever to my post. Who the hell said anything about wanting things to be perfect?

Certainly one expects changes in life, but you don't usually expect such drastic changes to the rules of a game. It can happen in a new game, yes, but to say their teams problems are their own fault, like he did, when said team was based on previous rules is ridiculous.

My post was in response to a poster who said that it is a player's own fault if his team is in trouble because of the changes. I disagreed.

Certainly we can expect a brand new game to change, but we should not afterwards be told that we are at fault when rule changes demolish our efforts which were based on the old rules.

Unless you have some means of predicting future changes then I would assume you agree with this sentiment.

I agree with your sentiment. But I agree more with the sentiment that setting long term goals this early in the life of a new game is setting yourself up for frustration.

That's not to say you shouldn't do it. I'm just saying that, at least from now on, any long-term planning must have (and I also personally believe should have had form the onset) in mind that the rules are not static.
