Which is why in his first game he shot something like 10-14 from the field in the first quarter.

Yep. Crap offense.

So you take 1 stat and that's your entire argument? Laughable. I guess that's why so many people are agreeing with you.

You took 1 quarter from 1 game. You can have a good offense and not be an offensive team. There is not a team on this game that fits the "defensive team" description better....and when you give up 1,065 points for an entire season that is plenty proof. I guess scoring the least points amongst non-relegating teams doesn't mean anything to you either...

I'm done posting in this thread though. It's pointless bringing up facts to a blind man unless they're in braille, and last time I checked I can't type in braille...

Nope. Points scored means nothing.

Uh, the reason why he dominates everyone is because even with a 2-3 zone no one can stop his inside players.

He has one of the most unusual and unique teams I've ever seen.

His big men aren't particularly great, but he is using 4 centers and 1 point guard in one line up, so he's able to get his rating all the way up to proficient(medium) and no one can stop him.

His point guard is also 7 foot tall!

I think his strategy is that IS is very cheap on every type of player besides PF and C so he just boosts that to get an extremely deadly team with ridiculously low cost. Pretty brilliant.

Don't let the haters get you down. Just because he's nowhere near the league lead in scoring and because his unstoppable inside shooters end up giving him 2% lower shooting than most of the other teams near the top of the league, we all know that the only thing that matters is the first period of a particular game.

Bigcat,

In my league, we're the top defense going up against probably the best offense which happen to be outside oriented.

Game 1 of Finals, they shot 39% to my 49%. They average 99.9 points per game but scored 88. We average 95.7 but scored 103. We average 73.1 points allowed per game. Their offense scored 15 points more than I allow but 12 points fewer than they average. Their top offense was not so top in that game. I stacked my best defenders on the court because I knew they'd be bringing that outside focus. If they had more of a balanced offensive attack, they might've been more deadly but they have an outside oriented roster.

We have a middle of the pack offense, btw, with the exception of three guys that can really shoot (Ovaska, Venslavs, Titus).

Donny, you're out of your element...

Listen to Stauder and Jason. They know what they are talking about.

lol Stauder I gave up on him about 35 posts ago, let him continue to believe this and other peeps to believe just like him and when we play him we will destroy him. I love people that dont train defense it makes it easier for me to beat them.
