I think the communication side is more important than the tactic side.

With an U21 team the side fairly much picks itself. Maybe 1-2 close calls on players.

Then you play LI/M2M every game. You TIE as much as you can throwing in 1 CT a season. What is so hard in the tactics?

What is hard is dealing with us. We Nippon managers are very difficult & demanding. There will be anger. There will be criticism. There will be language issues. Keeping us happy & doing the right training & caring about the team is the big thing. The coach needs to be diplomatic. How diplomatic have these Italian guys been?

A diplomat puts all his cards on the table, but still has some up each sleeve, can put his foot down without stepping on someone's toes, can keep his shirt on while getting something off his chest & can tell you to go to hell so tactfully that you look forward to the trip.

That is what I want.

@Wolph: I’m really thinking that you’re being ridiculous trying to belittle myself.
Until now you moved only personal attacks. You attacked me only because I don’t speak Japanese. Don’t you have any other matter of contention? : )

You’re really wrong, I didn’t use any online translator. They’re not good to translate, in any case, neither for European languages. Now try to translate me some phrases in Italian so I can also have fun…
I translated with the help of some of my good friends who are studying Japanese for a long time.
If you want to put me to the test give me a phrase and I translate it : )

Japanese people are really hospitable people, and they never show disrespect, something that you always did towards me.
Are you sure you’re Japanese?

@YC:
a- in your opinion you say you’re the best coach, the only problem is that you never won anything…
b- is strange that you have so much time when you tell me that all Japanese people are too busy, isn’t it conflicting?
10 time a day, you’re exaggerating! : P
c- well done, good answer, we only have to see if you’re going to put it into practice…
d- in two you’re going to do a really good job, for sure…, ah ah ah : D
e- I gather you never trained one, so I can think that you have so much experience… also because I can see that neither in your club I find players who are training… The only one is on sale…
f- Well, so no results also in this field, good… However lot of things changed since.

Another series of questions and then I’ll reach my conclusions:
- How important is in percentage the U21 trainer?
- Which will be your results/promises, thinking that you already know better than me community, players, systems, etc?
- If you never trained an U21 player, your experience is about 10 seasons ago in the Japanese U21, you don’t have any Goal in your club, why are you so sure that you’re the best trainer for U21?
- Don’t you think you’re showing disrespect to the 6 trainers who are in a better place than you in the National ranking and to the about 1000 in the International ranking?
- You think you’re going to manage the National team as you did with your team? A 300K salary top player and 20/60K players… don’t you think it’s an unbalanced team?
- If you were in Italy as User… in which kind of category you think you’d be?

In my opinion I don’t think you have so much experience as you say and you haven’t any standing result in your notice board a part second places…
In your opinion I think you don’t want my help for the National, either. Isn’t it?
By me I already tell you that you’ll be welcome with your help if I’ll be elected.

Wow...You clicked on my team and came to that conclusion.....hahahahahahahahaha!!
I was semi tanking last season silly. See, sometimes you have to re group and that is what I am doing..My last batch of players got me 2 cup runner ups and a league runner up. enough about my team.
I had a U-21 player two seasons ago and then again last season.....I don't like to be manager when I have players on the team...I am trying to get my two young Japanese bigs on the NT team.
And this is for you....you attack me and were rather rude doing it.....Shouldn't you be nicer to the next U-21 manager since you do have a play on the team.?
And last....I have had a winning record since season 9 and you were 3-19 last season....I can tell you this, even in Italy, I wouldn't be in Div.5 after 10 seasons.....and what have you won?

I've never attached you, I've only asked. It's different.

I've won in Italia V.148
I've won in Italia IV.42
I'm in V for my choice.

For sure if you were in Italy you would't be in V series, but neither in serie A. :)

Overall I find that YCs performance and team strength is far superior to yours. His choice of players and training decisions, from what I can see are superior.

Not a personal attack, but just a consideration:being in a small country, you start from an higher division with higher incomes,so even a mediocre average can build a good team only with the money
I'm not saying that YC is a mediocre manager, but honestly compare a team built with I division incomes(and there are fwe managers in japan,so it's not that difficult being in I division) and a team built with V division incomes it's non-sense

Also, the italian guy who is candidate have had a decent success in past seasons, just check out his history(he ended up in top 64 in italian national cup,he played some season in III division, results that aren't bad if you consider the size and the competition of italian community). It means that in the past he has been better than a large part of italian community....being in the top 200 teams in a country with over 4000 users(a position where that manager has been, when he reach the playoff in the III division),it mean to be among the top 5% of italian managers...being 7th in a 30 nation country means being only in the top 25% of the managers of that country...

I was ranked as high as 2 and was 3rd for 4 seasons.( world rank of 79 at that time)..I am in rebuild mode(explains my 500K salaries). And I was also in a conference with Sharman Globetrotters( ex BB best champion) I lost 2 cups to him. after having 800K+ salaries for 6 seasons I am rebuilding which is why I am ranked 7th...Maybe if you looked a little closer you could have seen that. But I will stop this right here...You have already caused Malice(owner of one of the U-21 starting C) to get a forum ban. I guess we know who he is voting for. Like I said before...If your Boy gets the votes needed to be the U-21 manager then good for him, I will tip my cap to him, but you and the way you have responded on here to the actually voters probably didn't help his case.
