rwystyrk is the manager of BC Hostivar. So either the 49 points or the 43 points are wrong.

Just so we're clear. I think you should change the points system to reflect what the top managers think.

I also think Darkonza should be in the conversation despite having won less than others.

I'm arguing that it didn't give him any advantage that was unavailable to him as a regular D1 member. You're arguing that it was a significant advantage that we can only let slide if he didn't have an NT player in 10 seasons.
No mate, what you're doing is presenting your opinion as a fact. If you or he didn't do any of that that's your word for it we have to take. And also clearly it doesn't mean that it is not possible to do so and others in the same position haven't done it.

Well to be fair I think all the most successful managers have been nominated. Perhaps we haven't caught them all, but people can always add more names.

Actually I did some research and came up with a top 20. I will post it on a new thread.

1st - Manager of BC Törööö
2nd - Manager of Springlfield Drunkers

Both were absolutely great. Today is not more dificult, even if the players are better, back them there was a lot of competition, teams were very even, and was hard to win.

welll I agree, we've to consider in that time all the teams were similar, they didn't win for money but because they understood before the others how to play. It's also true that the bug of the value of OD created false expectation above all to the teams like mine that trained JS

The game is way more difficult today, I doubt BC Torooo would be able to dominate now the same way he dominated back then...

the game is constantly evolving, no doubt, but the best managers learn / adapt / maybe even anticipate better than the rest. a great player at one time is a great player for all time.

my own criteria places a premium on longevity. one title can result from a fluke set of circumstances (i should know), but a series of titles is tough to explain away, at any time. i've not had enough to drink to get into a shouting match, but if a manager has had an extended run at the top of his country with multiple titles, i now have a sense of what's involved to make that happen, and i very respectfully tip my hat to them.

as a competitor of magiker, i have the sense he devotes more time to the national team than his own squad -- i admire that, for he could tweak his own squad and perhaps win an individual NBBA title, but instead he assembles a squad that many take pride in.

P.S.: If anybody's interested, I got a full scholarship for the private high school and later finished my senior year there strong enough to make it to a really great university

congratulations. and if it is a "really great university" there will be a course on BuzzerBeater.
